Absolutely fantastic stay. Sharon and Dave were so welcoming and we loved chatting with them , lovely couple. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, lovely lounge area to sit and have tea and watch tv- prime and Netflix a massive bonus . There was a coffee making machine in the room as well as a fridge and microwave. The bedroom was lovely, the bed was so comfy and we had a lovely nights sleep. We had a fridge in our bedroom with water , juice and milk and the biscuits and chocolates were a lovely touch from hosts who really care about their guests. Lovely bathroom. The hot tub was amazing and its covered incase it rains, so relaxing sitting in on an evening with the lights on and lovely and private and a nice seating area just by it where we enjoyed a few drinks. Although you get total privacy we really enjoyed the company of the hosts who showed us around and it was lovely meeting their dogs Lola, Flossy,Dexter and Billy. If your not dog lovers you wont see or here them but we are and asked to meet them and loved seeing them.A lovely relaxing night away and looking forward to returning

Sharon and David were very welcoming and kind without being intrusive or over attentive. They set me up then left me be - perfect hosts. There was everything I could have wished for and more: kettle, fridge with chilled water and real milk in the bedroom; a microwave, toaster, crockery, cutlery and trays for TV dinner in the lounge. A pod coffee maker too, croissants, chocolates and biscuits galore. I didn’t in the end use the hot tub but it looked great. Everything was thoughtfully and pleasantly presented. I couldn’t have wanted for more. Thank you so much.

Convenient location, host(ess) was Great (and her 4 Dogs) Walking distance to great Bars and a Few Restaurants! Would advise anyone to Walk (or more sensibly drive) to the top of the hill and look at the view OMG

As soon as we pulled up we was welcomed by them both, showed us around and then left us too it. we are a young couple and felt at home (minus having to doing the dishwasher) the room was lovely and cosy and the view from the windows in the morning watching the dogs in the garden was beautiful, hot tub was excellent and big. the two hosts were fantastic and we will be coming back for the caravan soon with the dogs! thanks for a lovely holiday experience and thank you for your hospitality. p.s house is beautiful and you wont wont to leave!

Great location very close to town . Very welcoming hosts comfy bed a home from home with the benefit of use of the hot tub. Sharons dogs were very friendly and didn't bother us at all throughout our stay. Sharon has thought of everything providing tea coffee and other drinks at no extra cost also biscuits etc. A little gem of a place that I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

A steep entrance driveway that wouldn't be suitable for anyone with mobility issues . However, was not a problem for ourselves.

From check-in, Sharon & Dave were welcoming and charming, the perfect hosts. The property is located in a nice quiet location overlooking Prestatyn. Sharon's Retreat is nicely decorated and tastefully furnished. We particularly liked and appreciated the fact that our hosts had added nice finishing touches: a bowl of sweeties in the bedroom along with tea, coffee, and a selection of biscuits and a kettle. There is also a coffee machine in the lounge, again, with an assortment of excellent quality biscuits. There are also prepared table settings with good quality glassware and crockery should you want to order food in. The property was extremely clean and tidy. It smelled heavenly. The hot tub is set in its own enclosure, which affords privacy as well as insulation. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sharon's Retreat. Thank you for having us! Ed & Inga.

Hosts and hot tub

Sharon and Dave were brilliant hosts, location was excellent. The accommodation was better than expected. Quite a hill to walk to town/beach. The best part for us was hot tub at end of day 😍
