Great weekend away!
The caravan was extremely comfortable and clean. The amenities in and around Rhyl were great and the Grandchildren had great fun!

When booked, the caravan wasn’t advertised as being fully decorated for Halloween and I kindly asked if it can be undeco
As feedback, we were extremely disappointed with the service. As I do appreciate it wasn’t your caravan, I would have expected you to check and make sure the caravan is in acceptable condition and has all the necessary stuff you would expect to find.. it wouldn’t be acceptable, as a guest, to find a shit in the middle of the property and get the excuse from the person offering the service as: is not my caravan, i am not responsible for it. My expectation is: I pay and to get what I paid for, no matter the circumstances.
Anyway.. if it was me, i would have been very apoplectic and I would have made sure am coming or calling the next day to ask what else is missing and to bring whatever needed for my quests that paid money that have worked hard to gain..
There was no toilet paper, no towels at all, one of the single bed was basically bent on one side so we struggled with our sleep, the wifi was not working (password wrong or something). On top of this, the double bed was disgusting to look at as someone slept in it, leaving hair and bodily fluids in it. The bedding that supposed to be clean looked like whoever cleaned then had no facilities to proper wash and dry as there were hair and other stains that looked as it was dried outside and stained of birds shit.
This was the worst stay of all, not to mention that the caravan we initially booked wasn’t advertised as decorated at all. I would have expected in this circumstances to have some degree of decoration (small decorations and subtle) but not like full of decoration going on the exaggerated side.. at least please put in the description for people to know that certain dates you have the caravans decorated as hell, so people knows what to expect. I don’t care you have to pay to make changes to your advertisement. It is your business and you should make sure your clients are happy and aware of the state of your properties you’re booking out.

Relaxing break
It was a very restful break,the caravan was very clean, warm and cosy, the beds were very comfortable, and it was just like being at home enjoying our favourite tv programmes in the evening, one other thing was the quality of the food we got at the chip shop which we enjoyed, we will certainly be booking again

The food in the area was great
The caravan on arrival was very dirty, had to eat out every night as couldnt cook in the kitchen. the bedding was heavily stained and stunk musty they was cold and felt wet, we had to go any buy sprays to make it smell a bit better, there was dirty socks and underpants under bed and on the patio, the floors were filthy. It smelt of gas as soon as you walked in furniture was broken.

Overall we throughly enjoyed our stay, some things could’ve been better.
The caravan and amenities are lovely. All of the little homely extras were an added bonus. The location is great, close to everything without being too close to the busier areas. The beach close by is beautiful.
I think the general cleanliness of the caravan could have been a a bit better. There was dog fur in a few places and one of the beds had a few bits in it but we didn’t need to use it so that wasn’t too much of an issue. Through no fault of the owner at all but the bin area on site was disgusting (nappies, dog poo and lots of other rubbish scattered everywhere on the floor).

Would stay again
Dawn was really helpful and accommodating, Van was clean and comfortable with everything we needed including WiFi and smart tv. location was good close to the amenities, site is a very short walk to the beech with the Main Street and amusements also within walking distance . It was so nice to stay somewhere that makes your dog so welcome with toys and treats provided.

Great times
We thought the caravan and the facilities we amazing, especially for the cost. The beach was great. We felt comfortable in the caravan and the decking was an added extra bonus. Just the right amount of space needed. With lots to do at the resort.
Trying to cram so many things to do in such little time. But I suppose even thats not a bad thing when theres that much choice. The voxens were just ok, I actually thought the house party and bingo were better.

location. near the sea. but there was no access to the sea, because the embankment is under renovation. additional fee for the pool and entertainment. absolutely unnecessary. the pool is only an hour a day and you have to book there. we didn't even try anything else. the playground is free until the entrance. the apartment was poorly cleaned. shower with hair, a stained towel radiator. in the kitchen under the sink there were birthday balloons. and very uncomfortable mattresses. I think the owner simply doesn't know how to clean there. And the refrigerator smelled really bad. we didn't even use it.

Hectic but a lovely home from home as a base
Dawn our 'host' was so lovely to chat to. The caravan was perfect, clean, comfy beds..everything in the caravan you would need and more. And soooo dog friendly..from being okay with dogs being allowed everywhere to the bowls AND a box of dog toys...a perfect couple days away ( although a sad time due to the visit being for my dad's funeral..) we couldn't have asked for a more genuine lady host

Great value for money definitely recommend
Very comfortable, well situated. Beautifully decorated and we all get chocolates ( kids even got a surprise Chocolate egg each), there is also a blanket if you wish to feel comfy while watching TV . My Kids loved the sloth blanket on their bed. Our bedroom had a toilet .
. Dawn communicated well before we arrived and available when we needed to ask questions .
We don't have pet but if you do there is bowl, dog biscuits, and even blanket on the sofa so they feel welcome too.

Awful
A pleasant site with a shop at the entrance. Plenty to do on and around the site. There is the Sandy Grove club with wood fire and very pleasant people opposite the entrance. Excellent bus service run past the park every 12 mins. Close to the beaches and other towns like Rhyl, Abergele, Rhos on sea, LLandudno and Conwy where you can see the smallest house in GB.
We booked caravan BF67 on 13th March but only informed By Dawn of the caravans refurbishment late afternoon Friday 14th March. It did not mention it on the Booking.com website.
We complained to Dawn because the caravan was dirty and the shower was disgusting see pics We sent pictures as requested and asked for a move but told they were full. We were offered compensation but that was resinded after we complained to Booking.com and some of the messages we received after were angry and accusing
As Dawn said to us the caravan should not have been on Booking.com because of the refirbishment. We only stayed 1 night instead of 2 and slept on the sofa.
Reading other reviews for JDC rentals they have had a far nicer experience than we did.
and we did not complain to get a free holiday as suggested.

Well lets just clarify the truth and untruths.
We contacted you at 09.10 to discuss the heating farce with portable heaters all over the floor a trip hazard and 09.48 complain about the state of the shower and the rest of the dirty caravan just after we moved in.
HARDLY SATURDAY NIGHT is it!
We wanted to stay, what, in that digusting caravan.
There was never an offer of another caravan or money. After we complained to Booking.com You actually said you WERE GOING to offer another caravan and a 1/2 price holiday but you never did offer anything because we contacted Booking.com and you got very angry. You called us fraudsters and we just wanted a free holiday.You were out of order with them comments.You told us to leave which we did. We would not have stopped another minute in that caravan anyway. All the pictures were sent on Saturday.
Let the people read the comments and show the photos and texts to them so they no who is telling the truth.
And as for losing out on a future holiday. Donate it to someone who cannot afford a holiday! Iam sure you wont!
