The view was spectacular.

The hot water heater was too small for the size of the house and number of guests.

Só existia uma casa de banho privativa. Existiam mais duas casas de banho completas. Existia mais um WC (sem chuveiro) Na descrição do alojamento dão a entender que são 4 casas de banho privativas.

The size of the accommodation was very good, plenty of space for everyone. Easy walking access to town and restaurants in the evening (beware the hills are steep coming back!).

Some parts of the property are a bit tired looking but still functional (bathrooms mainly). There were no guidance notes/welcome pack available on site which would have been useful, how to use appliances etc. Some extra pictures showing the entrance gates would have been helpful as we were trying to access via the lower gate on arrival not knowing about the other gate around the corner. We were told here was no key to the kitchen door exit leading to the outside stairs to exit the premises. This was not only annoying but quite possibly a safety risk being unable to escape from that door in an emergency. Street parking is common in the area but did make us feel a little nervous with the hire car and large damage excess if it got knocked... These are fairly minor things that can be resolved and did not detract from us enjoying the premises. We would use again!

The house is huge with stunning views of Funchal. Very well equipped kitchen. Very clean.

There was no visitor guide/manual. Would be good to have maps or leaflets of things in the local area such as transport and grocery stores etc . Also be useful to know where to put the household waste etc.
