The Kingston Court

The breakfast was very good and delicious. The Host is such an sympatic and honest person. If you need anything then just ask Shawn for it. He really cares. And if you like animals it‘s the Right Place to stay there. He cares for the dogs and cats in the neighbourhood.

The host at Kingston Court, Shawn, is excellent. He makes fantastic cocktails and delicious bites, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. The property is located in a peaceful area away from the busy city of Kandy, making it a perfect place to relax. Shawn also went out of his way to help arrange charging for my electric car, which was greatly appreciated. His hospitality and attention to detail made my stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Kingston Court was fantastic, largely thanks to Shawn, who went above and beyond as a host. He helped us plan our days in Kandy, gave great tips on what to see and do (and how and when to do it), and even helped arrange our airport transfer. Breakfast each morning was a lovely local spread, always more than enough. Kandy itself gave us plenty to fill our days: the botanical gardens, a tour around the tea plantations, an evening and day at the Perahera in the city, and a visit to the Temple of the Tooth. Getting around was easy too, with the bus from Kingston Court into town, and a tuk tuk or bus back. The house itself is nice and tidy, with good communal spaces and a bedroom that was a comfortable size. Beyond the practical stuff, it was the personal touches that made the stay memorable. Sharing a drink and swapping stories one evening, and watching his kids running around and having fun, made it feel like more than just a place to stay. We're already looking forward to seeing where Kingston Court goes next, and we'd love to come back. Thanks so much, Shawn!

The breakfast was okay. The omelette ordered was home made but we felt that the rest of the food was from outside

Overall i didn’t like the property. I did not feel safe at all especially with no keys to our room. Therefore we were stuck in the room
