Ark Cabin Villa

I liked the clean air conditioner and general cleanliness was very good. I also love the fact that they took care so that the room is inaccessible by mosquitoes. My room was a decent size had a great shower and a balcony

Too many stairs but to be fair they did help us with the bags. The view also good because of the stairs.

The staff was very friendly, Aircon worked well. And the bathroom was good. Bed was very comfortable

WiFi is not very good, and you have to walk a bit to get to the lake.

Spacious, clean room, excellent WIFI and a hot shower. Beds were also very comfortable. Nice view of the hills. Located at a quiet end of the lake near The Temple of the Tooth Relic. This temple and its gardens are a must see especially around ceremony time. Staff were excellent, spoke English, made us feel very welcome and assisted with onward travel and local sightseeing. The lake is around a 10 minute walk away. There are a few restaurants up the road, about a 12 minute walk up the hill. We ate at "Herbs and Spices" (Kandy Fried Chicken)...Small local restaurant with excellent food at a good price. Supermarkets and ATM are primarily located in the town.

As a suggestion only, have a breakfast, it does not have to be extensive.
