    Great value for money in Arugum Bay compared to other hotels with swimming pools. We travelled here with our 14 month daughter in the middle of peak season and it was a quiet, calm oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle and heat. Don’t think we would have survived without the refreshing pool! It even has a kids end- super child- friendly. Grass for kids to run around on too and it’s all fenced in. They’ve done recent upgrades (change in owner I think!) and the grounds are looking green and lush. Rooms are basic but comfortable and extremely clean with great aircon and hot water which is rare in Sri Lanka. We were one of the rooms by the pool which was perfect. Staff were really friendly and engaging with our daughter. I’m not sure it would be the most social place if you were solo traveling but if you’re looking for a quiet, safe place to stay with a pool then this is it. Only slight improvement would be to install curtains in the rooms. Thanks for a great stay Calm of8 😊
