The location. Staff friendly and helpful. Beach front location was great. Quiet and away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to get to if you want a little more action. The fact that you have the upstairs deck to sit and enjoy the beach if it rains is a nice touch.

On Fridays there is no kitchen we were told. The hot water wasn’t very hot!

The hotel is beautiful and located right by the beach. It has a wonderful atmosphere, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and cleaned regularly. If you want to have an amazing time in Sri Lanka, I highly recommend this place! It’s definitely worth staying here.

I had a wonderful stay at Beach Wave Hotel and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Arugam Bay. The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a short walk from the beach, making it perfect for relaxing, swimming, or enjoying the sunrise and sunset. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. They made me feel at home from the moment I arrived and were happy to assist with any requests or provide local recommendations. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and featured a lovely balcony with a hammock, which became my favorite place to relax after a day at the beach. It was the perfect spot to enjoy the fresh sea breeze and unwind. The hotel also provides free sun loungers on the beach, which is a great bonus for guests who want to spend the day by the ocean in comfort. I really appreciated this thoughtful service. Another highlight was the laundry service. It was quick, affordable, and my clothes came back fresh and neatly folded, making it very convenient for a longer stay. Breakfast was tasty and freshly prepared, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm, clean, and relaxing. Whether you are traveling alone, with friends, or as a couple, Beach Wave Hotel offers excellent value for money. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so enjoyable.
