    Just a very small bed, very small room. Window was frosted and directly faces a wall. Just a bit overpriced and more like a 2-star hotel. Clean and comfortable though.

    Starting with the Pros: -Excellent Location: A small walk from Sendai Station -Excellent Bed Size: The semi-double is a great size and value for the solo traveler for a brief stay -Excellent Customer Service: Staff are courteous and helpful. The Cons: -Bedtax Worse than Tokyo: Despite living in Japan I was still charged the tourist bed tax and for 2 nights it was 600 yen while in Tokyo it would be less. -Cleanliness was subpar: Reason for the Review title; bathroom had mold and mildew and the vent had dust to where my allergies acted up to the max. I dealt with it as I was only going to be here for 2 nights. I wanted to try a different hotel in comparison to other chains in the area that I'm accustomed to. I might give them another try and hopefully get a different room but this is an older hotel as the room I had was on the dated side.

    The stay was perfect! Very close to sendai station. The staff was very polite and helpful. The room smelled very comforting. Breakfast buffet was very delicious and with a huge variety. They offered really high quality complimentary toiletries and skin care. Overall the stay was fantastic and would like to atay here again!

    The location is great, only around 5 mins walk to Sendai Station. The room size is good, larger than those in large cities in Japan. However, the service of the staff could be better. The male staff are in general not as good as the female staff (lack of smile and no eye contact). The air con did not work well, only little air came out even I adjusted to lower temperature and higher speed. I can only open the window to improve ventilation.
