This place holds a special place in my heart! I can’t recommend my stay enough. It’s located in Sayan which is the sweet spot in Ubud. Ideally I’d keep this as my secret sanctuary and hideaway when I need peace and restoration in Ubud, but the service was so great and the team so friendly I had to write a review which I never do. What started as a 3 day stay ended up as a month long booking, and I would have stayed longer if I could. Tyo and Fidel at reception are the best service I’ve experienced so far in Bali, and made me feel so cared for and at home. They helped me with questions and any requests I had almost instantly. My room was cleaned daily and efficiently. It really is my home away from home and I can’t wait to be back.

Comfortable place, large rooms with a view of the pool. It's a nice chill-out spot near the pool, where you can eat, relax, and work on your laptop. I'll stay there again when I'm in Ubud.

I’m really unsure what is going on in this place, the staircase leading down to the pool is covered in dirt and construction debris. The pool is pretty, but it wasn’t very clean. The jungle view is gorgeous but the windows are so dirty it obstructs the view. The balcony was full of dirt. The blinds don’t work properly so you can’t pull them up to really get the view. Overall, I believe it was a beautiful room before, but there has been a lack of maintenance and care for this room. We complained about the smell of the dead gecko and asked to move rooms, the staff was so kind and tried to accommodate us, but the room he wanted to move us to smelled of Mold and my friend staying with me was pregnant. That was not an option for her and my 3 yr old daughter, I heard another guest complaining of the same smell in their room as well so our theory is the aircon vent or the sewer drain. It was so foul my friend threw up and I had nausea the entire night. We tried everything to remove the smell, but we just had to deal with it and we could not wait to get out the next morning. I tried to cancel, but the owner would not take my request. I would be happy to get a refund for that experience. I won’t be returning sadly.. it looks like it was once a gem, the hotel next door Semana is amazing and double the price, that night if I was allowed I would have paid extra to move to the other property.
