The property was in a great location, central for Stresa shops and restaurants and just across from the Ferry terminal for boats around the lake, c. 15 min on foot to the train station. There are a few public beach areas on the lake within 10 mins walk and a lido (paid entry) c. 20 mins walk with sun loungers and a pool if you want a day sunbathing and swimming in the lake. Accommodation was relatively quiet given its central location and we had no problems with noise. Accomodation itself was clean and nicely presented, bathrooms were modern with good showers, air conditioning worked well in +30 degree heat. There wasn’t a lot of sofa space but we didn’t find it a big issue. Worth noting there isn’t a cooker, just a microwave if that is important to you, we didn’t cook evening meals in so wasn’t a problem, Stresa has lots of nice restaurants and cafes.

Accommodation has fixed check in times, we let them know in advance that we were going to be late and they were able to set up a drop box at the office in town for an additional cost of 30 Euros.

Wij verbleven hier met twee stellen. Het appartement is ruim, met twee slaapkamers en twee aparte badkamers (één ruim, de ander normaal). Het appartement ligt op de tweede verdieping. Woonkamer is ruim, met een compleet keukentje. Alle noodzakelijke dingen zijn er. We mistten niets. Bedden zijn opgemaakt bij aankomst. Overal airconditioning. Je kunt parkeren op het parkeerterrein voor het appartement tegen betaling. Ligging is perfect! Je kijkt zo vanaf de balkonnetjes naar het Lago Maggiore. Op loopafstand van de veerboot, het pittoreske centrum met vele winkeltjes en restaurants, de supermarkt, etc. Het geluid van het verkeer moet je soms op de koop toe nemen. Veel beter zul je het voor de prijs niet gauw treffen. Een klein reisbureautje zit in hetzelfde gebouw voor al je uitstapjes.

Tijdens ons verblijf werkte de lift niet. Op het bureau waar we de sleutels ophaalden werd gebrekkig Engels gesproken.

Posizione in centro con vista lago. Ambiente accogliente, spazioso e pulito.

Nulla, se proprio posso dare un consiglio, aggiungerei nell’armadio un cuscino in più.

Great location but lacking instruction on how to turn on the lights. Also, could use another sofa in the living room - it could have been more comfortable.

Lack of comfortable furniture in living room. Places for soap in the bathroom showers.
