Ok accommodation but disappointed with the hosts

The location of the apartment is good as it's only a short walk to the main ski lift and town. Generally the apartment is in reasonably ok condition.

Having read the reviews about the hosts we were hoping for a really good experience. Firstly no one greeted us on arrival, we had to let ourselves in. Then we were asked throughout the week for more money. The reviews say the accommodation is new but it's definitely not. It's ok but pretty basic and a few things broke while we were there like the coat hangers falling off. They also say "toiletries provided" but it's just one bottle of basic shampoo in the shower. We had booked an apartment for 4 people originally but it had enough beds for 5 so we let the accommodation know that we would be 5. When we messaged we thought they were being accommodating as they were fine for us to have 5, and supposedly offered us an "upgrade" and confirmed that it was exactly the same layout. But when we arrived we had been moved to an apartment with a worse layout and they would not let us have the original one we had booked. It felt like they had done this to offer it to someone else. Additionally they wanted us to pay a further 280 Euros which was pretty steep given that one of us would have to sleep on a mattress on the floor. Plus a hidden cost of 80 Euros for tourist tax. Overall this would have been ok and we would have made it work but what was really disappointing was the way their team handled it. They were so unwilling to have a discussion or send anyone to speak to us about it and instead just kept saying we needed to pay more.

de gordijnen waren niet helemaal verduisterend, maar de eigenaar zag dat we zelf iets voor de raam hingen en besliste onmiddellijk om nieuwe verduisterende gordijnen te hangen. We mochten ook later uitchecken omdat er niet onmiddellijk na ons was geboekt.

Som det første bliver vi mødt af en meget sød, smilende, venlig og hjælpsom værtinde der byder både voksne og børn velkomne til Saalbach. Hun giver os en gennemgang af hvad der er i området og hvor vi finder vores jokercard og buskort. Vi tilbydes en større lejlighed uden beregning, da dette er muligt. Lejligheden er stor og lys. Der er alt hvad man skal bruge af både køkken, bad og opholdsfaciliteter. Lejligheden er virkelig hyggelig og det er tydeligt at dette ikke blot er et hotel men at disse er lejligheder drives med kærlighed for stedet. Selve området i Saalbach er meget smuk. På bergliebe bor du få meter fra busstoppestedet hvorfra du med dit jokercard kan komme hvortil du ønsker i Saalbach-hinterglemm. Vi havde desværre en del regn i de 4 dage vi opholdte os i Saalbach, men på trods af dette havde vi de smukkeste naturoplevelser på vores ferie her. Vi vil absolut anbefale at leje en lejlighed ved Bergliebe og opleve smukke og børnevenlige Saalbach

Uitstekende keuze voor gezinnen of kleine vriendengroepen.

De gastvrouw is ongelofelijk behulpzaam en vriendelijk. De ligging van de appartementen is dicht bij het centrum (10 minuten lopen) en pakweg 20 meter van de hoofdweg met eigen parkeerplekken en stoere banken en tafels rond het complex, zodat je van 's morgens tot 's avonds van de zon kunt genieten. Supermarkt en tankstation op 10 minuten lopen. Direct achter het perceel ligt een kleine sneeuwhelling met liftje waarmee je dichtbij de gondellift eindigt. De accomodatie voldoet goed. Alleen een oventje werd door ons enigszins gemist, evenals leeslampjes bij de bedden. Zeer goede opslag voor skies en skischoenen.

Het appartement mistte wat gemoedelijkheid en gezelligheid, bijv door wat aankleding of sfeerverlichting.

Fantastisch, absolute aanrader.

De locatie van de accommodatie is voortreffelijk: schuin tegenover een 'babypiste' die zelf schuin tegenover Kohlmais ligt. Ook Bernkogel en Schattberg X-Press zijn eenvoudig te bereiken. De warme gastvrijheid en oprechte interesse van de gastvrouw verdient een compliment. De goede zorg voor ons en andere gasten is noemenswaardig: om de dag schoonmaak en schone handdoeken. Het verblijf was niet goedkoop, maar wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf!

Als we 'iets' moeten noemen, dan noemen wij als verbeterpunt: de douchecabine heeft een hogere instap. Dat is opletten.
