Convenient walking distance to the harbour and no issue parking our car too.

Perfect cosy place to stay.

Clean and comfortable. Some lovely quirky decoration touches that added a sense of fun. Great location for a walk down to the harbour. Deceptively spacious for a small terraced house. Would definitely stay here again.

Cosy and luxurious.

The property is centrally located, modern and cosy. There is a luxe and colourful feel to the decor. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped. We found the beds very comfortable. Plenty of free parking on the street outside. Good places to eat right around the corner.

We really didn’t have any negatives.

We were a bit disappointed when we saw the road the house was in but once we stepped inside everything got better We had a few problems with housekeeping but they were quickly resolved by the owners

It had lovely details, super comfy beds, all the appliances you could need, and the street was very friendly.

Lovely welcoming house which I'd be happy to return to, easy walking distance for meals out.

Beautifully decorated house, with thoughtful touches. Welcome tray a lovely surprise. Books, games and toiletries. Excellent communication with host.

Only minor suggestions. Pillows were a little lumpy. Some side plates would be handy, in addition to the dinner plates.

Great weekend base to explore Amble

Lovely colourful accommodation only 2 minutes away from the marina and all the restaurants, parks, beaches. Spacious home with all the kit needed for an adventurous 2 year old with cot and high chair.

Hideaway very apt name for comfee home from home.

Nicely tucked away on a quiet street about 10 min walk from main bit of town, lovely comfortable house all clean and bright…..and great info etc from owners. Everything worked and Amble very good too. Spot on for our needs thanks !

Lovely accommodation that was roomy in size. Great location & the owner was in communication throughout the stay.

Great location. Parking was easy. Beautifully decorated.

Only 1.5 toilet rolls, tiny amount of washing liquid & no spare bin bags. Owner replied quickly and was happy to organise for the cleaners to return and drop more off but would have been handy to have access to more supplies so we could keep everything clean and tidy.

Comfortable and clean, with beautiful decor. It had everything we needed for our short stay at Amble. The host was very attentive ensuring we were happy with everything.

Beautiful accommodation, centrally located - would recommend!

Beautiful, comfortable house within a safe, quiet side street. Ample space for parking. Accommodation was clean and fresh, had everything you would need, good wifi connection. Within short walking distance to main street and local amenities.

Comfortable, clean stay in a beautiful part of the country.

The Hideaway is very nicely presented, really clean and comfortable. The owners had left us some wine, milk and chocolate which was a lovely gesture.

For some reason the heating had gone off on the first evening but we contacted the owners and they sorted it immediately.
