adequate, but not without disappointment, we have experienced better for similar money!
The location was quiet, and we were never troubled by the presence of other people, privacy was good.
The cottage lacked character and the homeliness we expected. On arrival the cottage was cold and did not feel welcoming. The views were limited due to the engulfing housing development alongside the cottage.

Great stay in a lovely cottage.
Well situated and the property had all the amenities we needed.
Poor WiFi. It was ok on Netflix but constantly buffered on other streaming sites. There was a note explaining the poor connection which was down to the building works next door. New housing development.

No spare loo rolls!!
The cottage was very clean, with lovely soft big towels and a very comfy bed. Good parking space and outside sitting area gets the evening sun. Footpath to Amble village saved us using the car for meals out in the evening too.
A completely impersonal presentation. Just the essentials and actually less than essential on the loo roll front. No spare rolls- we've never had to buy our own before! The sink and shower in the bathroom both drained very slowly even after the handyman came out to help.
