Cosy feel, nice furnishings
Had some issues with the water pressure on the boiler going low so had to reset a few times, sink in bathroom has a very slow drain.

Lovely decor and largely clean.
Good location in that you could walk to Amble harbour, pubs, bars, cafes and restaurants. We waked to Walworth castle.
The owner of the property was helpful with the minor problems we encountered.
It was on the main road so was quite noisy at night and in the morning. The fire didn’t work although the owner did attempt to fix it.

Convenient street parking alongside, ideal location for visiting Alnwick, Warkworth and coastal castles of Bamburg and Holy Island. One minute drive to two excellent restaurants on waterfront and convenience stores. Clever, recent and very useful renovations inside especially bathroom and master BR.
Challenging remote for electric flame fireplace.

Beautifully renovated cottage with great wood fittings and open stonework. Comfy bed and good shower room.
Could have had a little more crockery and there were no cleaning products to help guests keep it slick and span and help put their cleaners but very enjoyable stay.
