Everything was lovely and we loved the bathroom and kitchen. We would stay again if the very small issues were addressed.
The rear access (broken glass on back alley) and very dark on arrival.
No mattress cover or on the duvet/pillows - made mattress a bit uncomfortable and also unhygienic.
In Winter it would be nice for the heating to be on on arrival as it was a horrible cold wet night and we couldn't warm up for ages (esp if you provide an arrival time). Once the heating was running for a while it was cosy.

Great location, short walk to the local shops and amenities.
Poor lighting to access the property, as the outside light at the top of the staircase is switch operated from inside the property. The back lane (entrance to the property) has no lighting either. The yard would benefit from a sensor light to allow visibility when climbing the stairs to the door. The twin bedroom was freezing, although it has a working radiator, it would not warm up. Instead we used the sofa beds in the living area and kept the electric fire on.
There was some evidence of patching up (on the main ceiling) and unfinished repairs on the wall, hidden by the curtains in the living room. An air vent, presumably to prevent damp was placed at knee level on the wall (hidden by a stool), but it allowed freezing cold air into the room. So we just ramped up the thermostat!
I saw cobwebs on the hob in the kitchen, we chose to eat all of our meals out. So can’t vouch for the facilities.
The shower/toilet room was lovely! It looked as though it had been recently installed and had lovely hot water.
