Islander on the Beach 245

I had a great stay as a solo female traveler. The grounds were beautifully maintained. The unit itself had an incredible ocean front view and I loved having a balcony to get a semi view of the sunrise and being able to sit outside and relax. The hot tub, pool, and bar were conveniently right downstairs and while close, yet you didn’t hear any noise from the room. Parking was readily available during my stay the first week of August. You can also easily walk to Lava Lava next door and Coconut Marketplace stores. Location was perfect! So close to Kapaa, and not far when driving to the North or South areas. Was just 10-12 min away from the airport. Since everything in Kauai closes early, it was nice to come back to the unit and have access streaming and cable. It was also so relaxing just listening to the ocean waves from inside the room. I appreciated having two fridges to store leftovers and heat up in the microwave. Management was quick to respond when there was a minor issue with a hallway light and toilet. The bed was really comfortable too. Would definitely stay in this unit again! What a treat to celebrate my 50th birthday trip at this Islander on the Beach unit 245.

I enjoyed my trip and loved all aspects of the property . The only thing I would advise future guests is to keep in mind this is an older complex and unit. Some areas of the unit because of the ocean have some wear and tear like the sliding glass door and the balcony. None of that bothered me though.

Location was accessible to most amenities, walking distance.

Beautiful location, near the beach and many excellent restaurants.
