The view and location were fabulous. This particular unit is on the corner and has an extra window and better view from the balcony. We like the proximity to the coconut marketplace and centrally located on the island easy to drive either north or south we really like the pool area. The fact that we could get drinks there. It was really nice also! Also very nice to be able to walk to several restaurants. Also, some very small things that we enjoyed was the access to a yoga mat, beach chairs, and the hooks in the bathroom!
This particular unit needed some maintenance. There were tiles that were broken on the floor, and the sliding dooe was fogged up. It needs to be replaced.

Proximity to the ocean and its central location on the island.
We have been going to the islander for many years and hope that a face lift is coming soon. Painting and railing repairs are coming soon.

View was extraordinary! Clean, great location. Manager solved a hot water issue in a very timely manner. Saw Hawaiian monk seals right from the balcony. Loved the walking path.
We didn't notice that there was not an elevator so we dragged our luggage up the three flights. Some staff was great; others not so friendly. Price was good until all the fees got added in. It almost tripled the cost.

The room itself had a wonderful view and the location was central and within walking distance to the coconut market place.
The room was very dated and the furniture was very uncomfortable and old. The outside furniture was almost unusable and in terrible shape. We had few towels and very few blankets/ pillows. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The pullout bed was broken and had to have someone come in and pull out. There was nothing special or unique about the room and we even saw several bugs.
