MY CASA - OLIVETTO - Superb city center apartment with AC

We were a group of 3 single guys staying a few days for cycling. The apartment is quite basic but perfectly comfortable and clean.

Aircon is temperamental, some of the electric blinds don’t work and the key safe is very difficult to locate despite the photos it took us an hour to work out it’s on a telegraph pole on the other side of the street

Schöne Wohnung.

Einige Dinge waren kaputt. Router für Internet und TV musste erst gebracht werden. Wenig Schüsseln. Zu weit ab. Kaum Parkmöglichkeiten.

The location was good as it is walking distance from the train station, the port & the city centre. The rooms were a good size.

The keys were to be collected from the office which we weren’t aware of until the day before. There was also a deposit to be paid by credit card prior to getting the keys. The bins downstairs were shut & locked so we contacted staff numerous times, including sending pictures of the bins & this was never resolved during our 5 day stay. Considering there were 4 adults staying for that long we had a lot of rubbish & due to warm weather we came back to a smelly flat each day. Threatening to leave the rubbish in the corridor didn’t seem to phase the staff either, who eventually stopped responding to my messages. Only 2 people could shower before the hot water got cold each time. The property is next to some main roads so there is noise (cars and sirens) in the early mornings.
