Super clean and modern apartment

The apartment was perfectly clean, modern, and comfortable with really friendly hosts and located in a nice, well-connected area.

Overall, the apartment was rather small (we stayed in the Topaze apartment). Especially the couch-kitchen-dining area was tight. However, the size of the bedroom downstairs was fine.

Please see my very detailed review on TripAdvisor.com, I don’t seem to have enough room here to state all details. Sorry that I can’t include all information (especially about my last minute trip booked through booking.com when visiting Spain about 10 years ago)! Booking.com was great when booking in Spain last minute!

A minor detail that I was aware of is that there are many stairs at Villa Le Nid. It was perfectly acceptable for me and I plan on staying at this Villa again one day in the future, but people with mobility issues should be realistic if the mobility issues are severe. I am not sure if the beach (see following question) has an elevator or if it accommodates a wheelchair. I would guess it does at one of the entrances.

Peaceful!

This property is the best play I have every stayed at. From the owners to just the place, the apartment, the location, everything was perfect! Me and my friend were truly in awe of the place and the owners. They contributed to our whole experience to Nice! Will we come back again? Yes absolutely!

A little oasis in Nice

We had the most wonderful time at Villa le Nid, staying in the Rubis duplex apartment. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and we were greeted after a delayed flight with a warm welcome and a bottle of wine. The gardens are a lovely place to relax and read a book or enjoy breakfast / a meal outside. Jean Luc and Blandine were in contact in the weeks leading up to our stay with transport, sightseeing and restaurant recommendations which were invaluable. The location is great for exploring Nice and along the coast by public transport. The main train station is a 10 minute walk and the tram stop just 5 minutes. Plenty of lovely restaurants, shops and markets just a short walk away too. We’d recommend a stay here and would love to come back.

Absolutely fantastic!

The apartment has been very well thought out, with everything you could need for your stay. Nice comfortable bed, ample storage space and plenty kitchen supplies. Honestly, nothing I could really fault. Jean Luc is a very attentive host, welcoming and offered some great suggestions for our trip. He was accommodating and only a message away for any queries. The location is great, under 5 minute walk from the Liberation market (which is filled with fresh fruits, veggies and fish!) and tram stop. Perhaps a 10 minute walk from the large train station which offers regular trains to other towns and cities along the south coast and Italy too. There is a big supermarket just a stones throw away, restaurants and bars nearby too. Our personal favourite was Jean Luc’s recommendation of Zambetti bakery, where we would pick up a baguette and pastries daily. Yum! The shared gardens are beautifully kept and make the perfect spot for breakfast or a little evening drink. We had our own personal terrace too but we opted to use the lower garden space which had loungers, table and chairs and cute fairy lights too!

Stay here, you won’t regret it!

We had an excellent stay. Jean Luc was very welcoming and helpful about everything. Before we got there, he sent e-mails of restaurant suggestions and things to do in and around Nice. Apartment was extremely clean and well equipped. The location was also great, very close to the center. There are restaurants and shops nearby. Don’t look for any other apartments. This is the one! Thank you for everything Jean Luc 🙏🏻

We stayed at Ville le Nid for ten nights from 28th of July to 7th of August in the duplex apartment named Emeraude. The apartment was very clean and well organized, modern and with everything you need for short or longer stay. Blandine and Jean-Luc are a wonderful host and very helpful, gave us good advice and always willing to help. The beautiful garden around the house had a lot of tables and chairs for the guests staying at the Ville le Nid. There is a grocery store just around the corner. The fruits and vegetables market on the next street. There is also Tram stop which takes you straight down to the beach which is only a few stops away. The neighborhood is very quiet and not so much tourism as down at the beach which is only few minutes away. We highly recommend Villa le Nid. Blandine and Jean-Luc thank you very much for lovely stay.

Awesome, comfortable, relaxing and great value for money.

One of the most beautiful properties I’ve stayed in- the apartment and the gardens. Spotlessly clean with attention to detail- loved the decor. The garden is beautiful with lots of trees offering shade with a splash of colour from the flower trees- perfect for an outside meal or a cup of coffee in the morning. Jean Luc met us at check-in and helped with luggage( also when checking out), which was very much appreciated. Very close to amenities with many restaurants within a very short walking distance. The train station also very close by, making it super easy to explore- Monaco was a quick 20minute train ride. Jean Luc is the quintessential gentleman, he made my 12 day stay all the more worthwhile.

A very nice stay in a home-like environment

A cozy, recently renovated apartment. We had the Diamant apartment which is on two levels and we loved it. It had all the amenities needed (a nice bathroom, fully-equipped kitchen, air conditioning) and a small balcony to have breakfast in. The location is very good: a short walk from Tramway Ligne 1 with restaurants, cafes and a grocery store nearby. Jean-Luc was very welcoming and messaging with him before and during our stay was easy. There was even a complimentary bottle of rosé in the fridge.

This wasn’t a problem for us, but a word of warning if you have trouble with your legs: the villa is on an incline so you need to climb a couple of stories worth of steps to reach it.

Superb

I stayed at Villa Le Nid in June/July 2023: fantastic experience. Nicely located, close to the Tram and the "Non-touristic" place, La Liberation, lovely rooms and a Garden which enlarges the apartment quite naturally. Jean-Luc and Blandine are terrific hosts, very welcoming, helpful, and client-focused. I can highly recommend staying with them.

Amazing stay at Rubi appartment

Very clean and comfortable appartment with a nice balcony and garden. Amazing soundproof. It is located next to the main tram line, shops and supermarkets, 20 minutes walking to the beach... Nice welcoming. The host, Jean-Luc, is very friendly and he takes time to explain you about the city, near places to visit and any other valuable information. He is also available for everything you need. The Villa has contributed to make our holidays remarkable. It is a great place.

I don't write comments that often, but in this case I would like to do it especially. My stay at Villa de Nid exceeded my expectations. It was a great choice. I am writing this as an experienced and frequent vacationer in Nice. I have visited many high-level comfort apartments and I have experience. I would like to mention the following important things for Villa de Nid: 1. The meeting and key transfer was done flawlessly and even before the stated time of registration, and my husband and I did not have to wait. Jean-Luc gave us a great presentation of his apartments. We immediately felt great respect and care for the guests of this villa. 2. The apartment is very clean and comfortable especially in the summer season. The shower and sink are new and have the appearance of regular cleaning. The double bed is gorgeous. Our Saphir apartments had a central entrance and were split-level. And this is very important for the summer. The bedroom was in the basement. The night sleep and the afternoon siesta were very comfortable. Constant temperature and coolness. And most importantly, without any use of an air conditioner. This is very important. And ... which is unusual for Nice. Complete silence at night due to the location of the bedroom and its window. There is a separate sofa on the first level, which in extreme cases can be used as an extra bed. 3. Villa de Nid is divided into six apartments with separate entrances. But the most amazing thing is that we very rarely crossed paths with our neighbors in the villa. The architecture of the villa is well thought out. Full sound insulation. 4. The kitchen is fully equipped. Washing machine (two). Always free. Swimsuits and towels can be dried very quickly on the terrace. 5. Location. Who came only to visit the beach and have constant fun in bars on the first line of the sea, this option is not suitable. But for experienced vacationers like us, the location was very convenient. The beach is 1.6 euro and four tram stops.

We didn't find anything wrong. I will add to the good - We used Opera Beach. Liberation Market 150m. For cars, there is an instant exit to the highway nearby. The train station is non stop. I would like to add that the villa has a small cozy garden with several recreation areas, meetings with friends and a sunbathing area. I would like to note that Jean-Luc and his wife are constantly in contact and you can get detailed advice. We would like to wish success and prosperity to the owners of Villa de Nid.

Tranquil homestay

We stayed three nights at the Saphir apartment at Villa le Nid. Jean-Luc & Claudine were excellent hosts, and provided very useful information and recommendations even before we arrived. The apartment was clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. All the apartments offer a full kitchen with coffee machine, stove, and microwave. There is also a shared washing machine in the garden and an outdoor clothes line. We think the loveliest part of Villa le Nid is its beautiful garden, which Jean-Luc and Claudine clearly take great pride in. It offers a scenic view of Nice and is equipped with deck chairs and tables for a relaxing day under the sun or al fresco meals. The location is close to the Liberation tram stop and a 10-15 mins walk from the Nice Ville train station. Villa le Nid may be a holiday rental, but it certainly offers more than your usual AirBnB. It presents great value for money for anyone planning a longer stay in Nice.

Amazing hosts. Very friendly and helpful. Spent time with us helping to figure out our way in the region, and providing assistace with literally everything we needed. Not just someone who drops your key in a box. Accomodation was great, clean, spacious and providing all the facilities someone needs for more than a few days of staying.

An unforgettable experience

This is a charming villa with a serene private garden located at +/- 10-minute walking distance from the city centre. The hosts' hospitality, thoughtfulness and enthusiasm were very evident and palpable throughout our stay. During the initial days of your stay, Jean Luc takes the time to pay you a visit and discuss with you the wonders that Nice and the surroundings cities and villages have to offer. At all times, he is available to help you if you run into any issues (very quick to reply on Whatsapp too ;).) Jean Luc and Blandine are clearly very passionate about making the experience unforgettable for their guests. Also very important: the accommodation was clean, there were plenty of facilities, and the rooms were comfortable.

There wasn't a lot of parking space, which was inconvenient at times.

Where to begin? Great location close to trams, quiet and peaceful. Immaculately clean, very cosy and had everything you need for a short break. Beautiful city, great food but best of all...the hosts. Jean-Luc and his lovely wife was the perfect hosts from the first second. Always tried to find ways to offer assistance, guided us around the city by explaining and providing maps and always greeted us with thier trademark "banana grin". Will definitely be visiting again, not only to Nice to to the beautiful Villa le Nid. Merci beaucoup mon ami

Die Lage ist ruhig und dennoch zentral gelegen, ideal für Auflüge und in 10 Minuten mit der Straßenbahn zum Strand. Restaurants, regionaler Markt und weitere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Apartment Diamant ist sehr gut ausgestattet, modern eingerichtet und sehr komfortabel. Es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Wohnung war makellos sauber und sehr gepflegt. Der Kontakt zum Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Alle Fragen wurden schnell beantwortet und die Schlüsselübergabe verlief reibungslos. Öffentliche Parkmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Wir können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen!
