It was purposeful for our stay. That beautiful house needs some upgrading and tender lovining care

The location of the house was perfect for our needs Enough off-street parking Private

As soon as I arrived, I noticed that the lawns were not mowed. Once entering the house I noticed alot of couches, odd/mix matched chairs for the dining table, lots of bed crammed into rooms, and the level of cleanliness was not great - under the kitchen sink being the worst. The recycle bin was still out on the road, not being empitied (due to people putting wrong rubbish in it I believe), which meant we have no recycle bin for our stay. The other rubbish bins were also full - again, affecting our stay. No TV, and no extra Mirrors outside of the bathroom.

Filthy dirty disappointment!!

They layout worked well for our small sports team

It was filthy! Mould & grime all through the showers. Doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned properly in months or years. The dishwasher was mouldy on the inside & the kitchen cupboards were dirty. I have attached a photo of the only cloth we were left to use to wash dishes & kitchen surfaces. The stove top is gas & half the elements wouldn’t work. The oven had one tray that you wouldn’t put your food on. We had to buy tinfoil trays to do our cooking. The garage looks like it’s used for a laundry to dry sheets & towels from previous bookings & made everything smell musty. I tried to contact the host however my message was ignored & I kept getting what I can only assume are automated messages telling me they hoped we enjoyed our stay, make sure we leave it clean & tidy & see us again soon!!!! So disappointing when the layout is so perfect! They are just in it for the money & have no interest in supplying a clean comfortable good quality house for people to enjoy!

Beds were comfortable and showers had good pressure.

Ther kitchen facilities were abyssmal. No oven control nor even oven trays?, not enough cooking utensils. Tried riniging our host on a number of occasions without response.

Overall, my family and myself were very disappointed in the property.

The house was dirty. My 19 month old cut his foot on smashed glass on the side porch. I also found him sucking on a dirty bottle with rotten milk in it, and he found a sharp screw in one of the rooms. The oven tray was extremely rusty, and there was a dirty wet towel and sock found in one of the rooms. The windows are not child proof, and some of the beds are under them. This made it unsafe for my toddler. The list goes on too.

Amazing host

Am so happy to recommend property 82A of Richardson Road, Auckland to families or Groups that needs accommodation in Auckland…So spacious for big families and groups of 10 to 15 guests. The beds are very comfortable… Many blankets and towels if you forgot to bring your own….Kitchen utensils are of full supply. The thing I love the most is that it has 3 bathrooms and 3 toilets, so spacious and so clean…Not to forget the spacious car parks….to top it off….it is so affordable…. Check it out on your next visit to Auckland….

We would probably select this place again but it would be nicer to have more resources.

Property had a good location and plenty of bedrooms. Could easily accommodate a large family group.

It lacked basic resources. Very few cooking utensils, cleaning equipment and no television.

Location was great. Facilities good. Plenty of room.

The lack of Coffee and Tea cups and mugs . Makes it difficult if you have a large group which your residence offers, but don’t cater for them . Also no teaspoons or maybe 1 , if you could find it. Also not enough toilet paper left . Half a roll maximum in each toilet. Maybe we missed the storage of these items !?. We ended up providing another 6 rolls to the house. Surely, it would be worth rectifying these little things, for what is being charged. However, apart from these little things , it was a great house to stop in for a few days, and would stay again if we had a large group of people . Thankyou.
