We've stayed with Vacasa many times in Rockaway. This was a last minute booking. For the price $$$ there are many larger, on the beach properties, choose those. This one is newer with quality furniture. The hot tub was well maintained with correct chemical balance. It is very close to the neighbors in a residential neighborhood- so we felt the need to be extra quiet- not so fun for children on vacation.
Accessibility ♿️
There are two steps to the front door and back porch. The ones closest to the home are steeper than you'd expect, I tripped a few times. The master bed is way too high off the ground- this pregnant mama could barely get on it. The hall bathtub is higher than the floor, so stepping out is unsafe (with no grab bars), I made sure to help my children. The property isnt well versed for mobility aids for the smaller 2 bedrooms as there isn't much room around the beds, a walker could not fit well into the hall bathroom.
-We didn't have issues ourselves, but I know this information is helpful to others!
We didn't eat there as we were visiting other family, no idea how well stocked it is. The outdoor tables and chairs were in the garage for an unknown reason. We had to carry the chairs outside ourselves.
