Set on an estate-sized lot within the prestigious gated community of Ladera del Mar, the villa features sweeping views of the Pacific and surrounding mountains, expansive outdoor living spaces, a private pool, and a massive hot tub — the perfect setting for an unforgettable Costa Rican getaway.
We manage over 100 vacation rentals in the area, so our hosting style is a little different than that of an individual host. During your stay, you’ll be supported by a dedicated team to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Ladera del Mar is a gated residential community that sits just before the town of Playas del Coco. Just a 35-40 minute drive from Guanacaste Airport (LIR), the home is just a 5-minute drive to amenities like grocery stores, restaurants, pharmacies and shops. Just 3 minutes more and you’re at the ocean with several beachfront restaurants and a main street lined with shops, restaurants, and fruit vendors. Enjoy a walk along the beach boardwalk or stroll the beach from point to point for a 3km walk. Many scuba diving, sport fishing, and sightseeing tours depart from Coco. You’re also close to several area day trip spots – waterfalls, hiking, hot springs, and mud baths, cultural experiences, and river tours. Playas del Coco is the perfect home base for an amazing Costa Rican vacation!

The open-concept main level centers around a spacious living area with an 85" Smart TV and JBL sound system, flowing directly to the expansive outdoor terrace overlooking the ocean. The chef's kitchen features a large island with seating for eight, premium appliances, and a fully equipped coffee and beverage station — perfect for gathering over morning coffee or evening cocktails.
Outside, the terrace is designed for entertaining. Guests can relax in the infinity-edge pool, unwind in the oversized 16-person hot tub, or gather around the fire pit after sunset. A covered outdoor dining area accommodates large groups, while the outdoor kitchen and BBQ make it easy to enjoy meals with panoramic ocean views.
The villa’s six suites offer a mix of ocean and nature views, each with ensuite bathrooms, ductless A/C, and ceiling fans. Several suites open directly to the pool terrace, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor experience.
Each morning, your stay includes freshly prepared breakfast served by the villa’s on-site caretaker, who also helps ensure the property runs smoothly throughout your visit.

We had an incredible trip to Costa Rica and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The house was beautiful, spacious, and in the perfect location; a short drive to the beach and several great restaurants. We traveled with two other families (6 adults and 7 kids) and still had more than enough space, even an extra room to spare.
One of the highlights of our stay was Josh, who was absolutely amazing. Having breakfast and coffee prepared for us every morning made the experience feel so easy and relaxing. Everything about the home and the experience was seamless. We can’t wait to come back.

Absolutely stunning home! We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place, equipped with everything our family needed for an unforgettable vacation. The 16 person hot tub was a highlight. The large gathering space both inside and out were perfect for family time. Our adult kids and spouses loved that each bedroom had comfortable beds and a private bathroom. We booked our drivers through Rich Coast Vacations. They were very professional and accommodating. The driveway is very steep and we always felt safe with their drivers. Josh, the home caretaker, was so kind and quick to respond and help with anything we needed. We can't say enough good things about our experience and time in Costa Rica, with Rich Coast Vacations and this exceptional luxury home.
