Beach House Hermosa - Sleeps 18 - Great for Family Gatherings or Group Retreats!

We really enjoyed our time at the property. The check in was easy and all the amenities were shown and they were just as expected. The on site caretakers were just wonderful and did a light cleaning every day. It was truly a great location to use as a home base to go explore all that Costa Rica has to offer.

We just returned from a 7 day stay with our family of 14 while celebrating our 50th anniversary. Our group included 9 adults and 5 children, ages 8-13. The property was even better than the photos. Clean as a whistle, and the layout is perfect for families with children as it allows adults to congregate while children play close by in the pool or nearby. There are many comfortable areas to sit, eat, relax, play. The views are beautiful at all times of the day, and the location is great with many restaurants within walking distance along the beach and road. We also walked to a grocery store to pick up a few items nearby. The bedrooms were very comfortable, clean and cool. The staff were remarkable. Frazer was a gem - he helped us so much beforehand with planning transportation, excursions, stocking the pantry, reservations- and everything went perfectly and without a hitch. He thought of everything and more. He accompanied us on an excursion, and was a wonderful guide as well. Carlos provided transportation that was always right on the mark. Can’t say enough about idalia and Jader, the couple who are the caretakers. They are quiet, but took such good care of our every need so graciously and completely. The beach is just steps away, the views are magnificent at any time day and night. We had beautiful weather which really helped. I would recommend this place wholeheartedly without reservation.

WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED OUR STAY HERE!! The hosts and owners were very communicative and awesome. The on-site caretakers were phenomenal. There was AC in every room - two kitchens - the pool was clean and stocked with towels daily. We didn't want to leave.Our group also wanted to add:-The house caretakers were phenomenal! - MH-The most beautiful location. Very welcoming, and on-site care and property management were incredible with our group. Able to answer all our questions. Yoga mats on site. -KT-The villa was set perfectly for all us ladies … having two spaces and a common space was perfect for privacy and gathering; all you needed and more … the house caretakers are what literally made the experience next level … they were there with rolled towels daily .. they eagerly dried our wet shoes .. and did our laundry if requested … small restaurant within walking distance .. beautiful pool… the best part of watching them as a family was watching the way the Dad played with his daughter in the rain … 10/10 recommend… - MS-10/10, wonderful location and everything we needed for a week of adventure and rest. Our family stayed In Playa Hermosa for 2 weeks from Christmas Eve, and a week past New Year’s. It was ideal in every way: right on the inviting swimming bay, and privately situated adjacent behind old growth trees, and a white picket fence. Another plus was the short walk to two delicious restaurantes! The house was spacious, and tastefully decorated and provided all the modern conveniences (cable tv in all the rooms). It accommodated all 13 of us with ease (even a bunk bed room for our 3 grandsons). The bedrooms had AC, and the beds and fresh linens were very comfortable. Frazier, our always available concierge rented us a golf cart and a small SUV so we could shop and sight see. He arranged food deliveries for us, in advance, so the 2 kitchens were stocked upon our arrival. Extremely helpful. He also set up 2 delicious catered dinners, a trip to the Arenal Volcano the Hot Springs, and the Zoo.Our property managing family was a delight. Osmar cleaned the grounds and handled maintenance, and his wife, Juana, cleaned every day. Beds were made and the kitchens tidied.Their 3 children were delightful. It was such a pleasure to share the beach with the local Costa Rican’s. The air was filled with music and picnicking chatter and laughter,We even had our own resident iguana in the front yard tree.
