This home is perfect for large groups. It is clean, well equipped, comfortable and the host has thought of everything you might need. It is located right on the beach with beautiful views and walking distance to great restaurants. We will definitely go back! None of us wanted to leave! The concierge , Catalina was delightful and very efficient! All an all a perfect place!

Very nice home right on the beach and was large enough for 3 families to share. A lot of restaurants are walkable and the beach is relatively quiet and the water is calm with small waves. Used the beach toys (kayaks, paddle board) most days. The pool was a nice addition and we used it every day. The pool area has speakers that can connect to your own music. Lots of cookware and dishes if you wanted to cook. Nice bonus was 2 stand alone ice makers. Just a quick note: the 3 downstairs bedrooms doors open up to the open (not inside the house). These rooms have a key and we made sure our teenager children locked their doors once in for the night. We always felt safe in the house and area, but if my children were a lot younger, those rooms may not have worked. We were “lucky” to have some monkeys in the trees behind us, but they are loud at 4am, but again fun to see. The housekeeper was excellent and came 2 times in the 5 nights we were there. Overall a wonderful home for the end of our Costa Rica vacation.

This was the absolute trip of a lifetime and this house and the wonderful staff onsite are what make it a truly remarkable experience. The house could not have been more perfect for our family group of 13. Every bedroom was spacious and had its own nice bathroom. The view words cannot express and the sunsets are gorgeous and totally different every night. The proximity is close to several beautiful beaches we rode golf carts to. I cannot stress enough to trust Catalina’s recommendations on food and tours. Bless her… she was at our beck and call all week. We were loudly greeted every morning by the howler monkeys in the mango tree in the yard… many howler monkeys with lots of babies! Poco the dog became one of our own . He greeted us every morning and kept us company . Dunnia kept the house so clean. Martin and Benito kept our grounds and everything in the house perfect . Chef Kattya prepared her wonderful meals in the home. Her crew were amazing .. so professional yet fun !! Her sweet assistant Andy even took one of our sick guests to the hospital and stayed with her the whole time . Costa Rica and Villa Potrero will always hold a special place in our hearts. The people are so happy and respectful. Pura Vida !!

Villa Potrero was the perfect choice for our family group of 11, ages 12 to 83. The home was spacious, comfortable, and exactly as described, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and gather together. The beach was just steps away, and we loved having access to kayaks, boogie boards, and other beach gear.What truly made our stay exceptional was the wonderful staff. Cata helped arrange everything in advance—from excursions and transportation to groceries and a private chef—making the trip completely stress-free. Chef Kattya and her team prepared several fantastic meals and easily accommodated dietary needs. Housekeeping provided and onsite maintenance were a bonus.Another unforgettable highlight were the howler monkeys that visited the mango tree near the end of our stay. We felt so lucky to experience that kind of wildlife right in our own yard. This was truly one of our best family vacations, and we’re already talking about coming back.
