True Blue Retreat

True Blue Treat is what you see online! It was truly a good getaway that is centrally located on the island where you can easily get to anywhere on the island. Pool access was great for our kids in the evenings after we had long days touring the island. You wont be disappointed with staying here!

This is a great place to stay! The location on the north shore and the proximity to Christiansted are fantastic. The community was populated with active retirees with a few itinerant renters like us sprinkled in, and it was very friendly and safe. The grounds are beautiful, and the pool is light salt water, and one of the best features of the property...unless you want to count the small beach :) The apartment itself is comfortable. The kitchen is VERY well-appointed, and many more amenities are available inside the unit than are listed on the website. For example, there are bath products, sanitary supplies, a hair dryer, beach chairs, portable cabanas, a kite (!), and so on (among other things), and the listing really should be updated to reflect all the comforts!However, the check-in process needs to be improved. The information about how to do so was not provided until less than 24 hours before arrival, and the key box (because of the proximity to the ocean) is rusting and difficult to open; even the property manager struggled to operate it. Perhaps another alternative for storing the key could be considered. Also, most of the furniture is very functional, but the couch, in particular, has seen better days and might need cleaning. The parking is also quite tight - a situation beyond the owner's control, so this is just a "head's up".The aforementioned, however, are MINOR defects and should not deter anyone from staying! We definitely would rent again!!!!
