About this apartment rental
Beautiful, fully-equipped and recently renovated, two-bedroom, 1700-square-foot, duplex condominium in Saint Croix, the largest and most varied of the US Virgin Islands.
The condominium is in great condition, but the most stunning feature is the unobstructed view from its living room and outside balcony: the town of Christiansted one mile down an undeveloped hillside, waves breaking over the coral reefs offshore, and an expanse of water ranging in color from turquoise to deep blue. Buck Island and its white beaches can be seen to the east, and, on the frequently clear days, so can Saint John and the British Virgin Islands, some 40 miles across the Caribbean to the north. Sailboats bob in the harbor and every hour throughout the day seaplanes can be seen taking off for the 20-minute flight to Saint Thomas.
In addition to a colorful, fully-stocked kitchen, the unit includes a dining room, living room, and half bathroom on the upper floor, and two bedrooms - one of them a very big master with a separate vanity area - two full baths and an open air atrium on the lower level. The unit is perfect for a family of four to six, for two couples (assuming they get along), or for one couple who want a larger-than-usual space to themselves.

We spent a wonderful week at Rob's condo for our family's summer vacation in St. Croix. It is conveniently located close to Christiansted (with a great view) and a short drive from many great beaches and other activities. It was very clean, included lots of very useful and thoughtful touches, and was comfortable for a family with two adults and two teenagers. Rob was great throughout the process and it was obvious from our interactions with him and some of the owners in the complex that he is a very attentive and caring VRBO owner. Also thanks to Shelley for meeting us nearby when my GPS wasn't working to make sure we located the condo and got into it OK. We would not hesitate to stay there on our next trip to St. Croix or recommend it to others going to St. Croix.
St. Croix is a wonderful choice for a vacation. Don't miss: Snorkeling Buck Island reef, the Fredriksted pier, Cane Bay, and Tamarind Reef Resort; fine dining, island-style, for dinners and Sunday brunch at Ziggy's Market; the beer drinking pigs at the Domino Club; and more great beaches than we could visit in 10 days. We love all of the USVIs (and BVIs) but St. Croix is an almost perfect combination of the beauty of St. John with the amenities (shopping, grocery stores, restaurants, etc.) of St. Thomas.

Air con. Trade winds compensate well. Midterm maid is good idea. St Croix is on its way back!
