Clear instructions given, as to how to enter the property, this including helpful videos and images. Wi-fi of very good quality. The attempt by the team managing the property to respond promptly to messages. Unfortunately, this was only an attempt; they were very good at the beginning and not to standard during my stay.

Although communication was good prior to arrival, and the extra information re keys, etc. arrived in good time (the morning of my arrival day), I had a very bad surprise: I had chosen the property, to be as close to Menton-Garavan train station as possible: I didn't have a car and I was travelling by public transport. I was asked to collect the keys from a different location, which was 22 mins away from the property I was staying, closer to Menton main train station! I should have known that in advance, when choosing the property. Keys were not in place when I got to collection point; this was not only happening to me but to other travellers as well, waiting there with their suitcases. We were all waiting; it was 3:30 pm, for a check-in time for 4:00 pm, in a different location. They did come to assist straight away, to be fair; but if my property is 22 minutes away, I will have to walk back in the scorching heat with my luggage, and I am then made to wait in the heat, this is really not acceptable. Property was clean enough but could have definitely been better. Toilet was flushed but not properly cleaned up with a toilet brush, as per standard expectation. Main apartment shutters were working fine, thankfully; kitchen shutters were stuck/unusable. There were no curtains; only shutters that went up and down. I did find a broken curtain rail and folded curtains in the storage cupboard, next to the washing machine. Which meant, the curtains did exist at some point; they had not bothered to put them back up. Coffee machine had the wrong coffee pods, and did not produce any water.... I could not use it. When I tried to use the sink in the bathroom, the sink was blocked. When I communicated that to them, they ensured me, they were going to send someone on the same day. No one came. I had to message them again, the next day, when they did send someone, who poured unblocker liquid to the kitchen sink instead….
