Urban Oasis on Hay Street

It was available at very short notice, and was clean and comfortable.

The booking process was difficult. This might have been to do with it being a last minute booking, but the final actions of ID check and security deposit were not made clear.

Clean and homely. Very comfortable.

Couldn’t fault it.

The location, the space, the comfortable living room and handy kitchen, washing machine, vacuum, nice big television, private atmosphere with windows not facing out, nice dining table, nice handy clothes rack, good amount of dishes and cookware, comfortable beds. Check in and check out was simple and convenient. We enjoyed the location for exploring Perth, and there was enough space and amenities that we could stay in to cook our own meals and recharge too. Would stay again.

Very strong smell in the entryway (banana scent? carpet cleaner?), shower water temperature kept going hot and cold, confusing lighting situation (wall switches activating lamps, no ceiling lights in rooms), could have appreciated more complimentary toiletries eg. Tissue box in living room, toothbrush holder in bathroom. Broom or dustpan for more easily sweeping sand after beach trips would have been nice too. Could have been nice to have extension cord or power strip in living room to charge phones/laptop more easily. One of the elevators was broken the whole time we were there which meant wait times were a bit lengthy.
