Palma Hostel

Location of the hostel is really good, close to the beach and all facilities supermarkets shops, restaurants, huge shopping center all in walking distance. Staff is really nice. There are two bathrooms, one 'asian style' and one 'western style'. Others guests were really nice too. Bus 10 connects the trainstation, busstation, the airport with the hostel (and the beach). Bus 16 and mashrutky 88 connects Sarpi (Turkish border) with the hostel. Buy your transport 'Batumi card' at Willmart (Georgian supermarket that is everywhere in Batumi). Any orange machine you can put cash money in to get credit on your Batumi card. Or you can use your credit-card to pay for bus (mashrutky you pay cash 1,5 lari). If you want to send postcards the postoffice is at Melashvili street, close to the seaport and the cable car. Tourist information is also close to the cable car at Gogebashvili street.

It was a bit too hot in the room. There was no airco, but a fan in my room.

Pemilik hotelnya baik, kamarnya bersih, tempat tidurnya bersih dan nyaman...tidak ada gangguan, dapurnya bintang lima, rapi dan bersih...resepsionisnya seorang pria muda, baik dan membantu saya serta membayar ongkos bus saya karena tidak ada masalah dengan kartu saya. Terima kasih, hotel yang bersih, indah, dan aman.

I stayed there just for one night. It's calm and quite place. the owner lives there and he's a decent person but doesn't speak English. If you're looking for famous Batumi spots to explore on foot, then it's quite far away from this Hostel. Overall it's clean & tidy with affordable price, good for those solo travelers who can walk happily.

The room was too smelly. I think there should be an exhaust fan.

The current staff and owners are so good. They keep everything going smoothly. They are very hostile towards their guests.

The facility itself is very, very humble.
