Magical apartment, magical place.

Its a historic stone building with thick limestone walls, like waking up in the 17th Century. You can imagine the carriages entering the courtyard. The decor is superb, the room and amenities are wonderful and generous. Very clean and super shower. Even two little chocolates to greet us. Très confortable.

Not for the infirm. There are 65 stone steps (its on the top floor). When we arrived, the black outer door was closed so you could not see the staircase mentioned in the instructions to know where it was unless you knew already. Also there is no parking near the building.

We loved the size of the apartment and its location. The room was tastefully decorated and had everything you needed.

Although we loved the room, the air conditioning unit did not do a good job of cooling the room. We did use the fan aswell but that only helped a little bit.

Very Beautiful, Clean and Quiet Accommodation

This was a beautiful studio apartment with everything we needed. It was very clean and comfortable. The apartment has an excellent location, and it is very quiet. Helene, the owner, made the effort to meet us during our stay; it is always nice when owners are interested in ensuring our stay is a good one.

Un beau logement mais très mal isolé de la chaleur

Logement joliment décoré et bien équipé.

La température dans le logement ( sous les toits) était bien trop élevé. Le ventilateur et la petite clim d'appoint ne suffisent pas pour refroidir la pièce en cas de grosse chaleur, ce qui était le cas. La petite clim étant très bruyante, on ne peut pas la laisser tourner la nuit. Nous n'avons pas pu dormir vraiment à cause de la chaleur.

Appartment mit Flair in historischem Gebäude mit allem was man braucht

Tolle, saubere Unterkunft in einem ruhigen Innenhof, direkt im Zentrum von Uzès. Im Appartment ist alles vorhanden was man braucht ... Freundliche Gastgeberin, über Telefon bei Problemen gut erreichbar; sie hat mir einen Tip zur Einrichtung des WLAN gegeben. Uzès ist eine Stadt mit tollem Flair - und das Appartment in einem historischen Gebäude spiegelt das wieder.

Einziger Nachteil: Steile Treppe in die 3.Etage über etwas ausgetretene Stufen - es ist ein historisches Gebäude. Wer schlecht zu Fuß ist, sollte diese Unterkunft eher nicht wählen.

Magnifique bâtiment !

Emplacement idéal pour flâner dans les rues de Uzès. A deux pas de la Place aux Herbes. Bâtiment classé avec beaucoup de charme. On a adoré les murs en pierre, la vue sur les toits de l'ancienne vile et la déco entre l'ancien et le confort du moderne. La douche incroyable !!! Appartement très calme, malgré être situé en plein ville on a pas du bruit. Hôte réceptive et disponible.

Perfekt läge. Tyst. Mysigt som ett liter studentrum i en 1600-tals byggnad. Passar nog bäst för kortare vistelser.

Lite dåligt utrustat och svårjobbat kök. 60 höga trappsteg ger bra motion men kan säkert vara jobbigt för en del.

Localisation absolument parfaite et appartement tes charmant !

Localisation exceptionnelle en plein centre d’Uzès au pied du marché de la place aux herbes. Hôtel particulier plein de charme, le logement est spacieux, la salle d’eau bien pensée, du rangement, une kitchenette appréciable même si nous ne nous en sommes pas servi. Agréable vue sur les toits d’Uzès. Nous avons un peu débordé sur l’horaire de départ mais on ne nous en a pas tenu rigueur et nous en sommes très reconnaissants !

Les étages, dans un hôtel particulier ancien comme celui-ci, sont hauts, les marches assez inégales il faut le prendre en compte mais c’est le pendant d’un lieu si charmant. Penser à ouvrir la fenêtre régulièrement pour éviter les petites odeurs d’humidité. Le matelas aurait pu être meilleur mais ce n’est pas inconfortable pour dormir.
