Excellent location for train into Edinburgh. Nice easy walk into portobello Home from home everything in the property we needed plus more.

Lovely house situated in a quiet area within a few minutes walking distance to train station and only about 10 mins straight into Edinburgh Waverley 😊 Nice touch from hosts supplying milk, bread, eggs, drinks etc. Would definitely recommend.

Overall it was a fabulous little place to stay. Only thing I could say if being really really picky would be slightly better lighting in bedrooms.

Very nice stay overall with no complaints

The property was very clean and spacious. The rooms and beds were comfortable and had plenty of wardrobe room. The kitchen was modern with lots of facilities and the smart TV with Netflix already logged in was very good. The hosts were very accommodating, allowing us to stay an extra few hours in the accommodation as our flight wasn’t until the evening . The trip into Edinburgh is extremely short, meaning you weren’t far out form the city but you also had some peace and quiet. The hosts were on hand very quickly if we needed them and they kindly left us a few bits (eggs and bread etc) for when we arrived. All around it was such good value for money and would 100% recommend it to people going over to Edinburgh for a trip and we would definitely return !

Lovely stay with lots to do and see!

Beautiful house! Lots of room. Comfy beds, lovely shower! Me and my family really enjoyed the stay. So close to the train station to take us into Edinburgh. Our cockapoo Toby loved the garden and his stay also! :) Also very close to a big shopping complex - fort Kinnaird retail park worth a visit!

Lovely 3 bedroom house with everything you need for a great stay

Great facilities and really thoughtful welcome pack. Good location, about 20 mins walk from Portobello and 5 mins from the train station. The owners responded quickly to my messages. Very clean and warm!

Astounding, amazing, great - what a fantastic place to stay.

Located in a very quiet and friendly area. Small, tidy and inconspicuous from the outside but a real gem from inside. Equipped in a very warm and friendly way, incredibly charming and very cosy overall. Very friendly owners - we didn't meet them personally but the email contact with them was sublime and replies came quickly and always contained the info we were asking for. Highly recommendable - especially if you are 3, 4 or 5 people since the house has 3 bedrooms. Very easy to get to centre city (either by bus or by train). Edinburgh itself is a fantastic experience and this home made our stay even more exceptional.

Comfortable place with 3 bedrooms, nice kitchen, parking out side the door, 3 minute walk to train station and then 1 stop to downtown. Host very nice and left welcome goodies .

Very good contact with the owners of the house. Clear instructions and all went smoothly. Nice welcome package. House felt like home. Very clean and had all we needed, and more. We were lucky with the weather and used the garden in the evening. Own parking next to the house. Train station is around the corner, only a minute walk. With an excellent connection to Edinburgh. Not even a 10-minute journey. We enjoyed our stay a lot, and we will definitely try to book it again when we have to be in Edinburgh.

Lovely Edinburgh stay!

The property was comfy and homely. Great close and easy access to the train to get into Edinburgh. Was lovely to arrive to some goodies in the kitchen and fridge. Great communication with property hosts and they were more than helpful. Would have no hesitation in staying here again and recommending the property.

Located only 7 mins from Edinburgh Waverley Station. An Asda nearby together with a shopping centre. Not far to bus stop to visit Musselburgh no need for a car. Plenty of space with kitchen, bathroom 3 bedrooms, a living room, dining room, conservatory and a garden - just like being at home. Large screen TV to relax, when back from visiting Edinburgh The extras were really appreciated, bread, milk, butter, jams, cereal and ready made juice in fridge together with grapes and cookies.

The most perfect Scottish home away from home!

The property was the most perfect home away from home while we were in Edinburgh. Dionne was the best host we have ever had — after overnight flights from the US she coordinated for us to check in early. Upon arrival there was fresh bread, milk in the fridge, Scottish treats. Such a thoughtful gesture. The home was very clean, had a beautiful sun room and while we didn’t get to spend as much time there as we would have liked (due to exploring Edinburgh and Portobello) it had everything you could need for an enjoyable stay no matter how many days. The home itself is conveniently located a 10 minute train or 30 minute bus from the city center. We will definitely stay again and be recommending to all looking for a lovely, quaint stay outside the touristy hustle and bustle of downtown. Ps. My family LOVED the coffee machine! 😂

Fantastic property close to the train and Portobello beach.

Hosts left a nice selection of food and drinks when we arrived. Plenty of towels and all amenities you could wish for. Great welcome pack and wifi with smart tv so you can watch streaming services. Location is fantastic and ideal for the train, less than 10 mins into Edinburgh. Could not fault the facilities. Three great sized bedrooms and a shower that also accommodates disabilities. Highly recommended.

Fantastic Stay – Convenient and Comfortable

I had a wonderful stay at this property! It was in a fantastic location, just a short walk to the beach and only five minutes from the nearest train station. Getting to Edinburgh city centre was incredibly easy, just one stop away, making it perfect for exploring. The property itself was neat, tidy, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for convenience and a great location!

Beautiful and cosy . The hosts have thought of everything and left us a welcome package of goodies 😉. The Xmas tree was a lovely touch. Exceptionally clean too. Fantastic location, only a couple minutes walk to the train station where you can get a train directly into Edinburgh. I would highly recommend this house.

Top Lage - Top Unterkunft! Aufjedenfall eine Empfehlung

Die Unterkunft war so schön! Der Wintergarten und der Garten waren wirklich mega und die Lage war top! Wir sind durch Portobello spazieren gegangen und waren in knapp 15-20 Minuten am Strand unten mit sehr vielen tollen Restaurants & Bars. Außerdem war die Zug Station nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß weg von der Unterkunft und damit konnte man direkt durchfahren nach Edinburgh. Wir können die Unterkunft wirklich nur empfehlen!

De accommodatie was precies zoals beschreven op de website. Ruim, meerdere woon- en slaapkamers, prima bedden, uitstekende keuken, een heel welkomspakket (met drinken en eten), prima communicatie met de hosts

We hadden wat problemen met een achterdeursleutel, maar dat werd snel opgepikt en opgelost door de hosts. Eigenlijk helemaal prima dus!
