Disponibilità dei proprietari che rispondono in breve tramite chat/telefono. A noi in particolare, viaggiando con un bambino piccolo, hanno anche permesso di fare il check-in anticipato (grazie!)
La casa è accogliente, funzionale e situata in un quartiere residenziale tranquillo a 3 minuti camminando dalla stazione dei treni che in una sola fermata porta al centro.
Per la spiaggia e i vari market invece, è necessario camminare una ventina di minuti (comunque una piacevole e rilassante passeggiata).
Come già detto nelle precedenti recensioni, all'arrivo si trovano uova, latte, frutta, pane, marmellata, burro, capsule caffè ecc. Insomma qualcosa da mettere sotto ai denti che è estremamemte utile visto che non c'è nell'immediata vicinanza un supermercato. Inoltre c'è a disposizione una macchina del caffè Nespresso che fa un caffè e latte montato come quello del bar.
Se noleggiate un'auto, avete due posti a disposizione davanti casa.
Noi non abbiamo viaggiato con la nostra cagnolina ma qui sono accettati e sicuramente con il giardino a disposizione si sarebbe divertita.
Mio figlio di un anno e mezzo si è divertito molto perché la casa presenta spazi agevoli, un arredamento basico senza troppi intrugli e, a parte la scala, il resto è uno spazio sicuro per muoversi.
Sicuramente ritorneremo presso questo alloggiose dovessimo tornare nella bellissima Edimburgo!
Secondo il mio gusto personale il sofá del soggiorno è un poco scomodo e anche i cuscini io personalmente li cambierei.
Sempre secondo i miei criteri, migliorerei un poco la pulizia, però io sono una precisina quindi sicuramente per chi ha uno standard normale va tutto bene.

What a gorgeous welcoming place! Our second time staying and we would absolutely come here again. Great location, a walk away from Brunstane train station for easy access to centre of Edinburgh and a few minutes drive to Portobello beach. Lovely quiet neighbourhood. We slept really well in the comfortable beds.
Everything was clean and the hosts kindly left loads of food and drinks so maybe see what's there before going grocery shopping. We really didn't have to buy much. They had left bread, butter, milk, eggs, chocolate spread, orange juice, fresh water, pasta, seasoning and spices, loads of different coffee and a coffee machine. The bathroom had loads of toiletries so again we didn't have to bring shampoo, conditioner or shower gel.
There is loads of space if you have several guests staying. We brought our dog who was very happy and settled here. Lovely garden and good space for dining outside and inside. Great to have the conservatory for extra space. Kitchen was very well equipped. We cooked here a lot. Smart TV has loads of streaming options and channels. Handy parking on the drive. You get so much here for what you pay.
