Number 70, Portobello, Edinburgh

We loved the shower chair and bars in the bathroom for our elderly mother. She felt much more stable in the facilities with those precautions in place. We loved the location—so close to the train to Edinburgh. Once at Waverly it was easy to do the hop on/hop off bus to get around. We loved the tiny details- travel brochures, welcome biscuits/milk/butter/jam/eggs/drinks. We loved how responsive the hosts were.

It’s not that I didn’t like it…but the tv was difficult to navigate. It also had a large scratch down the screen. Once the tv was on, the picture was not impacted.

Plenty of space and well laid out for 5 adults. The welcome pack was a nice touch.

A bit far out of the old town but really close to the station so access was easy.

Everything is beyond my expectations. The hosts are very helpful and consider from our side. Top level services.

Spacious. Very near the station. 7 minutes train time plus 4 minutes walk could bring you to the house located in a quiet residential area. The host has prepared almost everything you needed.

Big spacious property with 3 good sized bedrooms very clean everywhere. Also if you have a dog there is a good sized garden and parking for 2 cars. The owners left us bread, milk, eggs, sugar and t bags, with water and cordial in the fridge. The property is within walking distance to Portobello Beach where you can watch beautiful sunsets. Also a very short walk to the train station (5 mins) that takes you to the Waverley District of Edinburgh. Asda superstore is 5 mins in the car and Kilbraith Retail Park is 10 mins away. So the property is ideal for everywhere. Kevin the owner is amazing he will help with any issue you have, my daughter forgot her very expensive skin care products and other expensive items in the bathroom, the cleaning team reported to the owner immediately and he contacted me right away, the day after Kevin (the owner) sent them back to us by special delivery, Thankyou so much.
