This is in a great location for visiting Edinburgh both day and night whilst still having a very comfy house to relax in afterwards. There is a kitchen with plenty of equipment for cooking and some lovely treats (eggs, bread, milk) on arrival as well as a decent coffee machine with a full range of pods ! The beds were very comfortable and the conservatory and garden were a bonus. Big TV and comfy sofas topped it off after 10,000 steps around the sites ! The trains are every half an hour and are literally a 2 minute walk from the front door and then it is only 8 mins and you are right in the city centre (Waverley Station). I'd driven up so I appre ciated having parking on the drive by the house too as well as it being in a location that avoided me having to drive through the city centre. We went into Edinburgh using the train both day and in the evening for the Tattoo and felt safe and comfortable travelling at night. We didn't visit the beach but I could see from the visitor book that others said it was only a 15 min walk.

Very comfortable house. Clean & everything you need for a stay. We went to The Tattoo so was great 5 mins to the train station every 30 mins. 8 mins in to Edinburgh.
