Location is very good.. near ueno station
There is an unusual noise of stomping of floor beneath my floor (i'm staying at 3F) that is very disturbing to my sleep

I liked how close the hotel was from the train station. I also liked that the check in was easy and as we were there a bit early we could leave our bags in the room. For a quick one night stay before heading to the airport it was okay. We didn't see any staff so the staff review above is more for 'not applicable'.
I didn't like that the shower and bathroom were pretty much one space so that once you had a shower the whole floor was wet and we had to take off our socks and dry our feet each time.
There was a kettle but no coffee or cups. It would be better to have supplies on hand or none at all.
The room was quite tiny, but as we were only there one night it was okay.
