When I arrived, even though I had prepaid they did not have a room assigned to me. I do not think the attendant knew how to get a room as I had to wait while he went somewhere else - 45 min later I was able to check-in which meant I did not get to my room until after midnight my room was dirty. It looked like the table in it had not been cleaned. There was sticky stuff all over it. I went to turn on the TV and there was no remote then in the morning I went down to catch the six am shuttle after only a couple hours of sleep, me and several others sat in the lobby waiting for the shuttle when it didn’t come at the assigned time, I went up and asked if the shuttle is just running late and was told, oh no the shuttle doesn’t come to this door. Even though he could clearly see there were six of us sitting in the lobby with luggage at 10 to 6 in the morning,You have to walk down the road to get it which meant I missed the shuttle and had to take the next one and at 71 years old I cannot run as fast as a 25-year-old through the airport to catch my flight. Needless to say I was very disappointed with this hotel.

Simple but comfy hotel. Selected hotel due to early shuttle availability as there is a shuttle at 4:40am to the airport. Bed and pillows were comfy, spacious room, with iron and drier. A restaurant for a quick meal . It is good for an overnight stay for an early flight. I think the shuttle is available only in the am and evening, please check.

For the price I paid, I really didn’t expect this kind of room. The bathroom had mold, and the room itself was extremely small and uncomfortable — just bare cement floors, nothing cozy about it. I gave 3 stars only because of the hotel’s shuttle service, but even that was disappointing. They don’t follow their own schedule. On October 25th, we waited in the freezing cold from 7:05 until 7:48, while other shuttles came every 10 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous.

Rooms are OK. Restaurant has very limited menu and quality was not great. Breakfast is ok Shuttle comes only every 45 minutes and picks up/drops off at the same time. It was so crowded that some people, who got on the shuttle at the hotel before mine, had to get out of the bus with their luggage to allow me to disembark at my hotel. Other hotels I previously stayed at around BRU, had one shuttle to drop off people going in one direction while another shuttle was going in the other direction to pick up people. It was much easier and more convenient !

Nice to be close to airport. However shuttle hard to locate as it doesn’t follow the schedule posted on the site at the airport. We waited 40 min for it to show up (showed every 10-15 min). It stops at various hotels - which is fine - but didn’t use for morning of flight as I couldn’t be sure how long it would take to get there. Used an Uber for that. Breakfast is great with tons of variety. Bed and room comfortable and new.

I loved the convenient location of the hotel to the airport; airport shuttle was excellent. The room was spacious and quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant offered a variety of meals and breakfast was outstanding.

Hotel is located with other hotels so no shopping or anything to do. Room was comfortable and very clean. Airport shuttle only runs to 9:30 in the AM so if your flight is not early you are out of luck for a ride. The breakfast was really nice with a lot of choices.

I booked this place for my family for one night due to them having a shuttle. We booked the shuttle waited at the airport no one arrived. For over two hours from 9pm-11:30pm we tried to contact them and they would not answer the phone at reception. Called their call centre guest relations several times, they tried multiple times and could not get the person at the hotel to answer the phone either. After midnight we gave up and booked another hotel so more money spent. Their customer service is appalling, Wotif has tried contacting the reception and reservations since for a refund and they couldn’t even get them to answer the phone. They have emailed them which I am STILL waiting for a refund. Don’t book this hotel!!!!!!!

Really easy if you have a morning flight out of Brussel - Zaventem Airport, (specially if your route to the airport leads through Antwerp, traffic is a disaster in the morning so better leave the evening before) this Holiday Inn Express is IMHO perfect for that, I am not sure the rate's are lower then normal in July, but what i paid (a Decent breakfast and shuttle included) is absolutely Value for money.
