2 Regent Mews

The property was even better than the photos and description. It was centrally located but quiet; a lovely surprise as neighbouring streets, in the centre of town, can be busy and noisy, sometimes, with traffic and people, day and night. Shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and the seafront (promenade) and parks were within easy strolling distance. The property was really well equipped, with everything you would want for a short or long break, especially in the kitchen. For example it had a bottle brush so we could clean our reusable water bottles; brilliant. The owner’s thoughtful and considerate attention to detail was really appreciated. We would definitely book 2 Regent Mews again and would happily recommend the accommodation to others.

Not really a moan as we managed fine but having only a shower over a bath could be an issue for some guests as the stepping in and out required good mobility. That said in the winter, after a sea swim off the nearby Battery Rocks for example, being able to thaw out in a hot bath would probably be appreciated more than just a shower. Having the choice would be great. Not a moan but guests should be aware that leaving the bedroom windows open, too wide may result in an unexpected visit from the friendly neighbourhood cat! It popped in on the last day of our stay and was gently encouraged to leave as soon as we spotted it peeping around the living room door. It left happily, although it seemed somewhat surprised we didn’t want it to stay.

Good location. Lovely large rooms and high ceilings. Good kitchen equipment. Books available

Better communication with owner. I informed him about minor plumbing problems after we got home but he did not respond. Was not complaining just trying to help, Also did not like having virtually no view - wall one side and wall of chapel the other side Pigeon mess immediately outside the door

Lovely terraced accommodation central to everything , a great location to base yourself to explore , Clean , well equipped and great value for money . Hosts were helpful
