The house was extremely clean, and nicely decorated, it felt cosy like a home, the beds were really comfortable. I couldn't find any fault with the house itself, lovely place, well maintained and equipped and quiet.
The house was situated uphill just outside of the main town so it was a bit of a trek getting back to it each time ( but we are older so maybe its not any problem for younger ones) Luckily we used a train to get to our destination because it is unlikely you would find parking in the street, it was narrow, packed with cars and the pavements full of dustbins and various big recycling sacks all week, even after being emptied, so the location was not ideal. Penzance itself looked a bit shabby and as though it had seen better days but that might be because we were in that part of the town that was a bit run down which was a shame as the house itself was so pretty outside and nice inside. But good as a base if you can put up with the car parking issue and walking uphill. Oh, and the view from the window in the attic room was prevented by condensation each day, but you could get a view of the sea from the bathroom, so maybe "the lookout" as a name is a bit misleading!
