Hidden gem cabane, highly recommended!

We loved our stay at this cute, cosy cabane! The location is beautiful, and the sauna and jacuzzi were perfect for relaxing. The owners are lovely people who made us feel so welcome, we totally recommend it!

Just a heads-up for future guests: there isn’t a traditional shower in the cabin, but you can shower directly in the sauna or use the shower in the owners' house.

Perfect. Jenny was an incredible host and she made me want to return!!

The location, setup, property itself. The way Jenny had the place setup was so comforting. The sauna and hot tub were a welcome accommodation. Also we got an incredible view of the northern lights from our cabin which made the trip more perfect!!

Jen was very accomodating and welcoming during our stay. We enjoyed a sauna and hot tub everyday which Jen kindly prepared for us. Everything was very clean and tidy, with enough amenities to get by.

Most Perfect Cozy Cabin with amazing Hosts

This was the best place I have ever stayed in. So cozy, and very clean. The hosts are extremely welcoming and we were able to reach them at any time. If you are worried about this cabin being in the backyard of the hosts house, don’t be. Unless you are wanting to talk to the hosts, they completely stay out of your zone and with the way the cabin is built, you completely forget that there is a „main house“. Sauna is very nice and they provide essential oils shampoos etc. to make it even better. Due to our flights being switched up by the airlines we didn’t have time to use the jacuzzi but i‘m sure it would have been great (they do charge a fee to use the jacuzzi, just a heads up). We almost left without going on a walk but then last minute decided to just take a few steps on the path that starts right at the cabin. So glad we made that decision because that walk on the path in the literal backyard of the cabin was the most beautiful moment of our trip. Such pretty scenery and absolutely no other people around. The coziness of the cabin and kindness of the hosts really make this a once in a lifetime gem. Only spent one night there but it was absolutely amazing.

There is really nothing i didn’t like. The prize may seem like a lot but most places in rovaniemi are more expensive and trust me, you won’t regret paying a little extra for how amazing this cabin and it’s hosts are

Had an amazing and remarkable stay and would definitely book again!

Title: Amazing Stay – Highly Recommend! We had a wonderful time staying here. The place was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The bed was super comfy, and we had everything we needed. The location was perfect – close to everything but still quiet and peaceful. We loved the views and how relaxing the whole place felt. The host was so friendly and helpful, giving great tips on what to do in the area and making sure we had a great stay. Our view amazing, above us aurora lights. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay! Rating: 5/5

Super hosts. Great location.

We enjoyed staying at the Saunacabin. Jenny is a super host, she made us feel right at home & took care of all our needs. The couple went out of their way to ensure we had a memorable stay. The location is great & we got to see the Northern Lights right outside the cabin. The Finnish sauna was a great experience too! We would love to return for a longer stay in the future.

Modern, cozy and beautiful cabin with forest views & Sauna - we loved it

The owner of the property (Jenny) warmly received us and led us to the cabin straight away. She explained everything we needed to know about the cabin and showed us how to use the Sauna and the whirlpool. She really made us feel welcome. You can see that the owners put a lot of effort and time in the creation and decoration of this cabin. You immediately feel comfortable when entering the cabin and the view into the forest and the open sky is just wonderful. We can highly recommend this location and would definitely come back for our next trip to Rovaniemi.

It's not that we didn't like it we just think that it would be nice to know for some guests that there is no "normal" shower and toilet. You wash yourself in the sauna with a pot of warm water and there is a chemical toilet in the cabin. Like I said before it didn't bother us at all, but I think this might be good to know in advance.

This was the highlight of our time in Finland.

The property was quiet and beautiful with wonderful views of the forest and a walking trail to the river. The cabin was comfortable. We loved the private sauna and hot tub - such a nice way to relax for the afternoon.

Einen Urlaub zur Entspannung und Erholung mit ganz hilfsbereiten Verwaltern, wie man sich es vorstellt!

Wir haben wirklich nichts auszusetzen! Es war von Anfang bis Ende alles stimmig. Jenny und ihr Mann haben sich um alles mögliche gekümmert, man konnte sie für jegliche Fragen kontaktieren und es war immer wieder Holz für die Sauna aufgefüllt. Den Hot Tube hatten sie nach Anregung am nächsten Tag etwas weniger geheizt, somit konnte man einige Stunden sogar dort bei Minusgraden aushalten. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht und sich auf das Wesentliche im Leben konzentrieren möchte (ein Hot Tube und eine Sauna sind jetzt davon ausgeschlossen), der ist hier genau richtig. Selbst wenn man nicht in der Sauna tradiotionell nicht duschen möchte, dem wurde sogar noch eine Dusche im Eigenheim angboten. Jeder Zeit würden wir gerne wieder kommen, wir vermissen jetzt schon die tollen Aufenthalt.

Wir haben wirklich nichts auszusetzen. Wenn es eine Möglichkeit gäbe, Kaffee zu machen, z.B. mit einer French press, wäre das natürlich noch perfekt, aber es hat auch ohne gereicht.

Wat beviel niet?!!! Gezellig huisje met alle benodigde voorzieningen, in combinatie met privacy, natuur, fantastisch uitzicht, ov in de buurt voor uitjes, en de liefste warmste gastvrouw die ik op al mijn reizen over de wereld ben tegengekomen , topspot..

GEWELDIG!

Het verblijf was echt super!! De cabin bevat alles wat je maar nodig hebt. Tegen een kleine meerprijs kun je ook genieten van de hottub en sauna. De hosts zijn erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam, zij maken het verblijf nog aangenamer. De cabin ligt ook ideaal op korte afstand van alle attracties, zoals centrum van Rovaniemi, Santa Claus Village en alle andere activiteiten die je wilt doen. Ik ben mega blij dat we onze eerste 5 dagen hier geboekt hebben, zeker een aanrader. Wij hopen ooit nog terug te komen! Bedankt voor alles 🤩

Una meraviglia♥️

Tutto! La tranquillità assoluta a ridosso del bosco. La cabina era molto accogliente, calda e con tutto il necessario. Top la sauna che abbiamo sfruttato ogni sera anche per lavarci come tradizione finlandese (non c’è una vera e propria doccia ma per chi necessita può farla all’interno della struttura principale) Anche la tinozza all’esterno era una meraviglia!è facilmente raggiungibile anche il fiume ghiacciato dove siamo riusciti anche a vedere l’aurora;) Una pace assoluta, non potevamo chiedere niente di più bello per il nostro soggiorno in Lapponia.
