New property with all the essentials, cooking and clothes washing facilities. Toilet on first floor was very convenient. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious by Tokyo standards. Felt like a home.

We've been to Tokyo twice now, so we have a pretty good idea about the layout of the city and the neighborhoods. This property is perfect if you're looking for a clean, quiet, modern house with all amenities. The shower is beautiful with a separate bath for soaking after you rinse off. Soap and shampoo provided. If you're here in the hot summer, every room has it's own programmable air conditioner. The kitchen has all the basics for cooking meals if you like and there is a dedicated dining room area and living room with widescreen TV and bluetooth soundbar. PLUS: this house has a combo washer/dryer which meant we could pack less clothes and do laundry at night: wake up in the morning and you've got clean clothes! It's a separate full house which is a little harder to find in Tokyo, but sooo much better than getting a hotel room. Check in and check out were very simple, and the host was quick to respond to messages. I was so glad that I found this house... especially compared with other hotels and houses we've stayed in before. Perfect for 5 - 6 people. Across the street is the cutest little sake and beer store. I'm pretty sure the locals have wine tasting from little taps... The neighborhood is real Tokyo: you won't see any tourists until you take the train somewhere else, which is very nice. The subway is a 6 minute walk on quiet streets lined with shrines, temples, and other houses. Once you're at the subway there is a business street that runs all the way to Kenji with tons of restaurants, little bars, and shopping. I highly recommend Jagura Ramen! The Tokyo hotspots (Shinjuku, Shibuya, Tokyodome) are only a few subway stops away, so you can get anywhere you like and then retreat for the night. Perfect location!

I can't think of anything I didn't like.

The kitchen was convenient to use and made cooking enjoyable, and we really loved the Japanese-style bath.
