Bhumi Sangtu Ubud

Chambres très spacieuses avec une belle décoration et propres. Le lieu en lui-même est un vrai petit paradis, surtout après des journées d'excursion et l'effervescence d'Ubud. Un super accueil, l'ensemble du personnel est adorable. Très bon petit déjeuner. Déplacement en Grab pour le centre d'Ubud pour moins de 5 euros- environ 10/15 minutes. Nous avions demandé 2 chambres communicantes. Nous garderons un beau souvenir de notre séjour Merci!

Large spacious rooms, large bath area with shower and bathtub. Plenty of storage space. An umbrella in the closet if you need it for rainy days. Air conditioning works great. Good restaurants within a few minutes drive, including Mazzoni Pizza and Sher-e-Punjab.

* Limited drinking water! There are two small bottles in the room replenished daily, and one can't get more even if you ask. I regularly bought drinking water bottles from Pepito and Indomaret supermarkets which are very close to the property. * Flimsy glass sliding doors that are cumbersome to lock - this wasn't an issue for me, but could be for somebody paranoid about security. * If you are squeamish about house lizards, there are a few in and around the property. We found a large one on the glass partition to our bath area and the manager kindly grabbed it with his hand(!) and took it out when we brought it to his attention. * The approach road to the property from Jl Raya Kedewatan is very very narrow; our hired taxi had to sometimes reverse to drive around sharp corners, sometimes get down from the car and physically move scooters on the side of the road before he could take the car further. * if you are returning late (after 10 pm), better to keep your room key with you; there is nobody at the reception late nights. They do offer to send you a video of where they kept your key at the front desk if you are returning late. * Sound insulation is not great; there were other guests playing some music in the dining area on Saturday night and I could hear it well with doors closed and curtains drawn; this however did not go beyond 10 pm, so I was ok with it. * I decided on a single place to stay (this one) for my 5 days in Bali; this can however result in long tiring journeys. e.g. coming back from the Uluwatu fire dance ending at 8 pm took two and a half hours (with plenty of traffic jams along the way). Probably better to split stay between different hotels in different parts of Bali depending on where you intend to visit.

This is a beautiful and peaceful place. Everyone there is so friendly and accommodating. I love that it doesn’t have many rooms so it’s quite exclusive. We will definitely visit again!
