Friendly & small 1-BR apt with beautiful terrace

Location could not have been better. One block to Ponte Vecchio. Terrific neighborhood. Apartment was size of a dorm room, not large but just perfect for one, or two persons. Updated facilities.

Lack of water stream in kitchen. Minimal at best. Bathroom stream was excellent as was shower. Needed a heavier winter cover on bed. Weather turned very cold and damp. Although there were several VERY lightweight for summer one-two heavy covers for bed are necessary. No information on use of heat/ AC.

Apartamento funcional, com quarto pequena cozinha e mesa de comer, geladeira, utensílios, louças e panelas. Um terraço com mesa e uma vista fastastica . A poucos metros da Ponte Vecchio. Extremamente agradavel e prático ficar nesta acomodação, ainda mais poruqe fica do lado mais tranquilo da ponte e proximo a excelentes restaurante. Supermercado também proximo.

Não chega a ser defeito, mas podia ter uma TV.

The location is just great, couldn’t be better. You are basically in the middle between all the main sights, supermarket is just downstairs, another (better) one is around the corner. Elevator is a big plus as you don’t have to climb a lot of stairs as almost everywhere else in Florence. The balcony is another big plus, it is pleasant to have a morning coffee there. The huge minus is that there almost no pressure in water, neither in the bathroom nor in the kitchen. It is hard to even wash your hands, I don’t even mention taking a shower. So if you plan to stay inside a lot or travel with a child than this place is definitely not for you (unless you don’t use water for anything lol). I haven’t stayed inside much so I dealt with the lack of water, otherwise it would be a problem for me. The place was not super clean but it was acceptable for me. Everything in the apartment is pretty used but working. It has it’s own charm that everything is so used/old. There is an AC. The bed is quite comfortable but I wish there was a better/warmer duvet. It was quite at night. The windows have good lids to block the light as well. To sum up: don’t expect an exceptional quality stay here, choose it if location is a priority. Fair price/quality ratio.
