We had a wonderful stay at Duartes apartment. We by chance found a 2 night gap and quickly booked it whilst already staying in Alvôr. Despite booking on the day and with only a few hours notice, the host Duarte and house keeper Ester went out of their way to accommodate our booking at short notice. Ester kindly checked us in at a time that suited us and helpfully showed us around the apartment and advised us on where the beach, shop, pools and restaurant were. Ester made us feel so welcome and at home.
The apartment is modern, clean and beautifully furnished. We all slept well on the very comfy mattresses and appreciated the fluffy bath towels! The apartment is spacious and well equipped with a large fridge/ freezer, all the kitchen gadgets you could need, plenty of crockery/ glassware etc , dishwasher & washing machine. The apartment also has a large balcony with sun during the day. The prainha complex is well positioned close to Alvor and close to a wonderful, sheltered beach just 5 mins walk away, as well multiple pools on site. The beach has a couple of beach bars and the edge of the prainha complex has incredible views toward Lagos, great for sunrise and sunset views!
The Atlantic pool onsite overlooking the sea makes this site truly amazing. We are already looking at dates to come back!

Tout!! Le personnel est très accueillant, très gentil et disponible. Ils nous ont plus qu’accommoder et j’apprécie. L’endroit est très propre et tout simplement magnifique. Épicerie disponible et restaurant sur le site même. La plage à proximité est tellement magnifique.
Rien, tout était absolument parfait!

Everything !! The property was clean, bright, very spacious and is a 5 min walk to a beautiful beach. Every morning I watched the most breathtaking sunrise on the balcony.
The only thing that we wasn’t made aware of was that as we were staying out out season a lot of the shops/restaurants in town were closed along with the pool/restaurant etc on site BUT Alvor town was a short 20 min walk away (or a 5 min uber) and we very much enjoyed walking there everyday.
