About this apartment rental
In order to provide a safe stay for you and your family, we make sure our cleaning standards meet the current needs of travelers. For this reasons we are taking the following actions:
Hand sanitizer and protection mask available in the property upon arrival
Clean all our towels and linen with high temperatures and products that will kill 100% of germs.
Change all our linen and towels after every stay.
Use one good product to disinfect surfaces all around the property.
Casa Sao Pedro comprises two stylish and spacious three bedroom apartments with contemporary furnishings and soft décor creating a cheerful summer ambience. Identical in every detail, each apartment has a sitting room with a rattan style sofa and armchairs, AC , open fire, TV and a balcony or veranda bathed in morning sunshine. Two twin bedrooms (with Ac) and a double bedroom with AC, each have uplifting individual décor and share two independent bathrooms. Outside, the refreshing swimming pool and sun terrace enjoy a fine degree of privacy, with a barbecue for dining al fresco on those long Algarve summer evenings.

The property was a good size for 6 adults, it had everything we needed but could do with a revamp.One of the bathrooms had a bad smell even though it was clean.I would like to see the grounds around the house kept better.Our host was a lovely lady who left homemade desert up to us.

The check in was easy and the host Maria speaks good English. The property is perfectly placed on a street with a lot of very nice properties. It has everything you might need. Loads of kitchen utensils, cutlery, bedding etc. It is literally a 7 minute walk to the centre with all the restaurants. It's about a 20 minute walk to the beach. Having it's own pool was fantastic and very welcome in the hot weather. I'd definitely stay again.

Well positioned apartments, close to everything but quiet. Lovely big pool with plenty of sun beds. The host was fantastic and met us on arrival to show us around the apartment, which was spacious, clean and well equipped. Highly recommended

The property is in a perfect location, v close to town centre. It is nicely decorated with lovely views. Lena, the owner who lives onsite, dealt with a couple of minor issues very quickly.
However,
The cleaner hadn’t cleaned the shower tray which was blocked with hair and soap scum and there was a mouldy tea towel in the washing machine. I sorted this myself as I didn’t feel it was worth troubling the owner with.
The plumbing in the bathroom is of a poor standard. One of the toilets is leaking waste onto the floor leaving towels and mats smelling of urine. The traps haven’t been fitted properly so there is a constant smell of sewage. We have stayed in numerous properties in Alvor and have never experienced this before
When we pointed this out we were told we were being unreasonable and were asked to leave.
We were refunded the nights we didn’t use and left the next day.
Hopefully this issue has been rectified as it spoilt what could have been a lovely stay.
