This was our fourth stay at the Bungalow and we really enjoyed it. It was a great place for our group to eat together after a day of working on quilts and other creative endeavors. It was very clean and had most everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the location was quiet. Our hosts are always responsive to our suggestions and questions.

The Bungalow is a quaint, authentic little home which sits just a few blocks from downtown Winterset -- central to everything. Our host, Heather, was very responsive and helpful. House was very clean and uncluttered. Loved the books about the area as well as the Covered Bridges. I was able to finish the sequel book to Covered Bridges called "A Thousand Country Roads" -- didn't even know it existed -- while I was there for 3 nights and 4 days. If for some reason, we would be in the Winterset area again, I would absolutely try to book the Bugalow.
