Cafe & Hostel Kimi to Ichigo

1000/10 I stayed here for 4 weeks while solo travel around Japan and as a female solo traveler I felt so beyond safe here, I stayed in the mixed dormitory and it was so clean, the staff checked in on me to see if I wanted my space clean or blankets switched out. Being able to wake up and have unlimited tea right outside the dorms in the hall was such a plus. The bathrooms/showers/makeup area was always super clean and sanitized. Staff would always knock before entering the bathrooms which made me feel really comfortable knowing they wouldn’t just walk in. This hostel is close to literally everything, I found myself going on daily walks around Osaka and anytime there was a big event happening in dontonbori I was just a few streets away to be able to attend. Checking in and out was super easy. The cafe area was always super clean and they had free potatoes some nights which would literally make my day when they would offer them, the WiFi was fast and even when the hostel was packed with people I never had a issue with the internet. I stayed here for a long time and don’t have a single complaint this place went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations in every way. Also the food they sell in the cafe is so delicious I definitely recommend trying their desserts and breakfast when you stay there. Thank you so much to all the staff and employees for making my first trip to Japan so amazing and memorable.

The staff was pretty good

I needed a last minute room and this worked out due to the proximity from the train station in Nippombashi. Overall, convenient for one night stay. I was in a mixed gender area because the all women room was sold out.
