Cozy 2-bedroom cabin, with woodstove, near ACADIA's best Hikes, Lakes, and SWHbr

The location is ideal for all the touring we wanted to do. The cottage was deep in the woods; 100% privacy and so quiet you could hear a pine needle fall to the ground. Accommodations as advertised. Plenty of room and well equipped. Communication with “Marla” the agent, superb!! Accommodation needs a microwave and needs serious attention to internet connectivity. Had to reboot modem and router 3-4 times daily for a week. Not just WiFi issues, but the Spectrum cable service would shut off as well mid-show. The drinking water (and bathing water) is yellow. We were assured that the filters were recently changed but we chose to buy bottled water for the length of our stay. Can’t be 100% sure, but the cottage had a strong pervasive oder (I believe it’s the water) that we could not rid ourselves of. We burned wood each night in the wood-burning stove, but as soon as the delightful smell of burning wood dissipated, the foul oder returned and was at times overwhelming. Microwave, water and internet are relatively minor issues, but for a stay of a week, it became difficult to ignore these problems. Nonetheless, I would recommend this property and the agent Marla to all my friends. The issues I believe could be rectified easily.

Perfect Very Comfortable bed !

Great experience overall, nice private location that’s easy to get in and out of. Good location close to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Don’t know how well a larger group would fare as it was only me and my wife. Be aware there is no microwave, but there is great internet.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Spent 4 nights and it had everything we needed. Close to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was small but towels nice and soft. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing to stay awhile.
