Douglas Park Guest House

A beautiful guest house with a beautiful view across the water. The bedroom had a lovely sea view , comfortable bed and a lovely en-suite bathroom. There were many little extras but I particularly liked the Dunoon fine bone china cups , saucers and teapot a delightful way to enjoy a cuppa. Ken is a great host and seems to think of everything to make your stay comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and a good choice available. We also enjoyed using the comfortable lounge which again had that wonderful sea view and were lucky enough to watch porpoises feeding offshore. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the Douglas Park Guest house.

Dan greeted me at the door and was extremely pleasant. He clearly explained all the options we had and the rooms and how they handled breakfast in the morning. Everything went smoothly. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the bathroom was perfect for what I needed. The view was amazing from my room.

Great stay, lovely breakfast, welcoming host. Stayed when working in Dunoon and would highly recommend

The star rating doesn’t do justice to this guest house. I’ve stayed in worse 5 star hotels. The host has put his heart and soul into providing his guests the best possible break they could wish for. Nothing is too much trouble and the breakfast, well, all I’ll say is if you are eating out the night before leave room for breakfast they are the stuff of legend We have found a gem and can’t wait to have the opportunity to return.
