Peacock Guest House

Easy self checkin, with clear instructions received ahead of our stay with all required information. Private parking was available at the front of the property and once checked in, our room was very clean with lots of local information. The bathroom wasn’t large but was absolutely fine for us and had free toiletries and fluffy towels. The bed and pillows were super comfortable with a lovely snuggly duvet. It was a very short walk to the centre of Largs where there were many shops, sights, pubs and places to eat. We had a good nights sleep and in the morning went to the breakfast room where Ian took our order for hot food. Breakfast was top quality, freshly prepared, piping hot and huge, and was one of the best breakfasts we have ever had.

It was a warm night so we slept with the window open and early in the morning you could hear some road noise which was expected. The middle of the night was quiet.

This was an amazing stay! The location was very close to the town and the venue we were attending for a wedding. The breakfast on the morning was beautiful and we were accommodated to throughout our stay. The staff were amazing and extremely friendly!

There was nothing I could complain about.

The room was spotless. Shampoo, shower gel and conditioner were provided, as was liquid soap, small bars of soap, make up removal wipes, a vanity kit, notepad, pen, teas, coffees, biscuits, bottles of water, a fridge, corkscrew, glasses, local maps and tourist information. We were a 3 minute walk to the nearest supermarket and a few minutes more walking brought you to the sea front. The cooked breakfasts were amazing, large portions of piping hot food. There was also an extensive selection of chilled foods, yogurts, bread, cereal, granola, fruit etc. Everything was beyond our expectations.

There is nothing to dislike about this property. It is amazing and we highly recommend it.

Its says dressing gowns were provided and slippers. Nothing like that did ask. But was told no. Shocking time for breakfast. As I suffer from depression. And dont sleep good. And anxiety. And I went for breakfast at 10 past 9. Was told it says on book last hot food was served at 845. Witch I know was my fault. But didnt get offerd sit have cold stuff or even cup tea. I asked full kettle up so coukd at least have tea. In room I got dirty look. I paid over 100 pound for this. Was waste of time. I didnt even have pj's with me. So I was cold all night.
