Its location is stunning, its welcoming and comfortable superficially, nice vibe, but very basic. Garden is huge, and peace and quiet assured with some lovely wildlife.

The kitchen is really basic and poorly equipped, dining table tiny. Crockery and glasses only for two people, so what happens if you have friends who want to visit? Sofa is old and uncomfortable, bed very soft and somewhat lumpy - my husband had to sleep on the floor as his back got so bad. Did not like being right next door to a crowded, deep litter calf pen, where the poor things are cooped up in the dark 24/7 when they should be out in fields enjoying life, particularly as this is June/July - no excuse.

Quiet, remote and while we were there we didn't see the people in adjacent holiday lets and so very private. All as per advert and access etc. easy.

Fully understand the agricultural nature of the access drive and we have a vehicle to cope with it however, had we arrived in a low car, particularly arriving in the dark as we did, the large pot holes at the top of the drive just as you pull off the road and the large hole cum drain halfway down could have been damaging, Maybe just a warning sign or even fill in the few largest holes at the top.

Tranquil spot. Our third visit, we love it; the surroundings are perfect, streams and rivers, rolling countryside. Wonderful for our dog. Comfortable accommodation and fabulous garden.

Wonderful breakfast goodies left for us by the hosts, as well as bed, bowl and blanket left for our dog! Lovely touch! Amazingy peaceful location! Really hope to go again!
