Lovely garden next to a river.

It was a nice and peaceful little cottage away from the city. We had 2 kids with us (age 9 and 2) and there were so much green grounds for them to run freely. Nearby is a river stream flowing clear, crystal waters and the sound of the stream and birds chirping in the morning was exactly what I was looking for. We had BBQ by the stream and a lot of outdoor playing. Did I tell you, on our arrival, there was already a loaf of bread and a jar of locally made strawberry jam and marmalade. Tasted so good. Everything you need for you and your family with small kids are there.

You will need to drive (a very short distance)on a one-way and off-road trail. Keep your eyes open for the junction that leads to this beautiful cottage. But do not worry, clear directions to the cottage will be given to you by the host

Location for us was perfect, as you can escape from everything and relax in peaceful surroundings. It's a good point from which you can travel to various North Devon coast places (all within 20-30 min drive). We stayed in the Cottage which sleeps 4. Plenty of space and nothing to complain for this type of accomodation. Really cosy environment.

Property could benefit with a better WiFi connection as otherwise you will be out of signal :) however it's always up to what people want. For us we enjoyed break from WiFi and focused on daily trips outdoors. Space outside could have one or two bird feeders as great view to the lawn from the kitchen window. Road to cottage might not be a relaxing experience for people with low level cars :)
