    In the heart of the city! Massimo, so helpful at front desk, got me to the airport on Kings Day when no taxis were running. Built in 1660, small and charming but updated, right on the canal but quiet, fun restaurants and bars around the corner, discount at nearby grocery store. You must have a BenjiBurger at Snob Restaurant on lower level of hotel. Felt very safe as solo traveler. Book it!!!

    We love this place. Massimo was beyond helpful and has the patience of a saint. He helped us in so many ways. Big thanks to his father and owner Antonio for seeing us off early in the morning.

    Excellent location, truly the best in the area. The interior is stylish, the rooms are spacious, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Although our room faced the courtyard, we could still see the canal. Highly recommended.

    Overall a good stay, the hotel itself is great - kooky and old but atmospheric. Given the expensive rooms I was disappointed with a few aspects - no water bottles provided in the room, the little bar fridge was completely inadequate and did not cool things, no ice bucket available from reception, the bath towels were thin and cheap, the linen was also poor quality and did not have a clean smell/feel. All these issues could be easily rectified if management invested in matching the prestige hotel with prestige appointments/cleanliness.
