Location, host, amazing terrace with the view of Acropolis 😊
The shower is very small so not for a tall person. Plus they need to do something about the smell coming from the bathroom.

Ahmet was very responsive throughout. The flat is very well-maintained and has everything one needs. It is only a 10-minute walk to the beach as well if someone fancies a quick swim.

So the neighborhood is a huge plus — for me, it's the nicest area in Athens, with the sea just steps away and an atmosphere that's both lively (with shops) and relaxed thanks to the seaside, plus quick tram or bus connections to reach the city center. The terrace is really nice, and the street where the accommodation is located is very quiet and pleasant. The host was friendly and polite during the short time we crossed paths.
The downside is that there was no coffee machine, practically no kitchen utensils or cookware for actually cooking. The taps, door handles — everything felt extremely fragile, like a show-flat. Likewise, there was no toilet paper, no soap, no shower gel… There’s also a serious lack of storage space for belongings. Honestly, it’s a good apartment for a short couple’s stay to have a drink on the terrace, but for anything medium-term, the little details start to become an issue — nothing major, but worth pointing out all the same. Oh, and final point: the person who gave us the keys asked us not to make too much noise so as not to disturb the neighbors — a rather surprising request. Probably the aftermath of some previous disruptive tenant, but still a strange comment to make upon arrival.
